This is not a complaint about "Delivery issues" as stated by *** *** Instead, *** *** has not paid her invoice and as a result the item cannot be shipped Our terms and conditions state that the buyer is responsible for shipping of the items and that shipping
cost is not a valid reason to back out of a purchase We also routinely provide shipping quotes BEFORE the auction closes so that people fully understand the cost to ship an item (in this case a very large piece of furniture) Ms *** never requested a shipping quote until after she successfully won the auction Had she requested a quote, we would have provided one. Normally under the terms and conditions of our auction sales after days we charge a 20% "non-payment fee" to those who do not pay their invoices for items at auction However, thus far, we have waived that fee as it appears *** *** has misunderstood our payment methods We accept payments by wire or check for amounts over $1,as stated in our sale terms and conditions We cannot accept payment by credit card for amounts above $1, And if payment is made in good order, we will continue to waive the 20% non payment fee We would gladly accept payment now through an appropriate payment methods And then the item could be shipped. If Ms *** does not have the money in her checking or savings account to pay by wire or check, we would offer the following ideas for payment:1) Use a credit card check Most credit card companies offer checks that are then charged to the credit card account Ms *** could request some of these checks to be sent to her and she could fill out and sign them and send one to Curator's Eye.2) take out a cash advance on the desired credit card and then pay by wire or check

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***Please add your rejection comments belowTo start, I would appreciate if The Curator's Eye could muster the requisite professionalism to spell my last name correctly But this, too, is par for the course in my dealings with them They have not yet indicated a reason for the cast discrepancy in shipping quote amounts, BADA's email correspondence accepting credit card payment, which they failed to honor or acknowledge, or to direct myself, the Revdex.com, or the FRDeral Trade Comission to the information pertaining to the item location in the the UK One need only reference the trade publications articles on the abysmal mess this auction was, and how a "full investigation" will be conducted as per several trade magazines I shall continue to seek redress with the FTC, the Revdex.com and the British Antique dealers Association with regard to this dispute and the utter incompetence of this auctioneer and/or its agent BADA must be aware by now if how poorly this sale was conducted.Regards,
