Complaint ID Due to the Langlade County Timber blow down of July 2019, harvesting conditions were consider an Act of God. Most harvesting in this area of the county was nearly impossible due to all the storm damage. The job has been completed, but we were under the agreement of Lester Umland that this would take more time to complete than originally stated due to these circumstances. The original contract states extensions to the agreement shall be granted in the event of unforeseeable Acts of God (weather conditions) occur which limit or otherwise render the harvesting operation impossible. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak recent mill closures have gave us a small overcomable setback that will be dealt with. Also *** must provide us with a W-9 form before we can provide payment. Sadly, An Act of God is just one of many excuses Mr. has given for his failure to pay us for the timber taken from our property. The logging did not start till after the Act of God occurred. Mr. cut and haled all timber from our property from July 2019-December 2019. After the tornado and before Covid 19. No payment or weight slips were ever given to me or my brothers, only excuses as to why we have not received payment for our timber. We would be more than happy to provide W9's, to Mr. for payment of our timber.
