RevDex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***Mark Kia of Scottsdale promptly took actions to resolve this issue shortly after I filed my initial Revdex.com complaintPlease consider this complaint resolved and no further actions are required/neededThank you for support!
Regards,
*** ***

It is not in our policy to refund cash to customers We offered a complete refund and the customer declined *** *** General Manager | Mark KiaDirect ***sent from my macbook pro

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my
complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The only thing the business did was call me, apologize, and told me they fired that particular salesman Which is great, but not how I wanted this case resolved Since I have made this complaint, I had to take the car into a shop because the breaks were squealing very loudly and the steering had become wobbly The shop informed me that whoever installed the breaks installed the worst quality breaks that wouldn't last more than a couple of weeks They also informed me that the rotors on the front axle were shot on both sides of the car They informed me the wheels could literally break off within the next couple of months if the problem was not resolved Since then, the steering has gotten worse, as I can't exactly afford to make such an expensive repair I don't know anything about cars, so I don't know if the wheels could literally break off as described.I hope that something can be resolved of this matter since it's now probably become dangerous to even drive this vehicle The check engine light is also still on I'm not sure how the dealership got the car to pass emissions, which is what they told me was the last problem they were having before they were able to let me drive it home

The customer paid a price relative to an ***, not an *** premium We did however, offer to refund the transaction and unwind the deal, an exchange The customer declined all offers and wants to keep the car

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Regardless of the price difference of the car: I would not be paying a 37,loan had they not sold me a defective carThey never verbally told me I would still be paying the negative equity for the carI could have sold the car to a private buyer for a higher price than you even offered even for selling me a defective car.

I have reviewed the response made by
the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. While the amount that we paid for the ** *** does fall within the range of what an individual might pay for this car (as claimed by the company), this is ultimately not the point of the complaint The dealership purported to us that the car was an *** Premium, and used sales tactics of comparing our car to other *** Premiums in the area to make us comfortable with the price that we were paying The salesman was adamant that the price being offered was the lowest in town, which may have been true of the car was in fact a Premium In the end, this is what made us feel comfortable purchasing this carMark Kia was willing to sell us an *** Premium for the agreed upon price, and therefore it should be inferred that the dealership would be willing to sell us an *** (without the premium trim) for a lesser amount However, even though Mark Kia was dishonest (knowingly or unknowingly) about the car that they were selling to us, the means by which they tried to rectify their mistake was to have us just bring the car back, after all of the headache we had already been through This is unacceptable We had already had the car serviced at the *** dealership and purchased other items to personalize the vehicle In addition, by returning the car we would be sacrificing a significant amount of our personal time and added stress to continue our search for another car The car will meet our needs as is, even though it will always remind me of the poor experience of purchasing it and the feeling of being taken advantage of by the car salesmen at Mark Kia.It wouldn't have taken much for the people of Mark Kia to rectify their mistake If they had made us a good faith offer $500, we would have accepted it and been satisfied

As the customer knows with signed documentation, the vehicle was sold AS IS and very specifically states there is no warranty We go above and beyond by repairing all items we consider to be a safety issue to promote good service however, we cannot make additional repairs without cost to the costumer It needs to be fair for everyone See attached

Tire Pressure Monitoring system is not considered a safety item on any car however we are willing to make the repair We also would invite the customer to come in and meet with a sales manager to go over the contract again as we don not see any discrepancy with the figures

Regardless of price, the customer made an informed decision and signed multiple documents stating all figures *** Law does not cover buyers remorse

I can appreciate your concern about the lack of a spare tire We have multiple posters, displays, and handouts all around the store specifically for the Tire Inflation Kits that are coming standard on many cars now We completely understand that some people don't want to rely on roadside
assistance which is why we heavily display the new Inflation Kits that come with cars This is not something that we as a dealer decide rather a manufacture decision It's not just *** either This is a list complied by Consumer Reports last year for cars that no longer come with spare tires and the list is growing even more this year You'll notice some pretty expensive cars too, not just economy cars We do have spare tires available as an accessory kit that *** offers in the Parts Department While it may not be the answer you are looking for, your dispute is really with *** Motors, not the dealer We don't have any say or choice in what the *** Motors decides to offer the public If you would like to speak with someone further I would encourage you to contact Consumer Affairs directly at ***

The proper paperwork and funds have been sent to the lender to unwind the transaction We are unaware of how long it will take on their end to complete but should be fairly quick

We were made aware of this issue and handed immediately We took a loaner car to the customer hours away and completed the emissions testing and title work We also reimbursed the customer for their troubles and expenses Thank you for bringing this to our attention
