On March 14th this customer came to our dealership interested in our Dodge RamHe asked if he could take it to his mechanic, which we said was not a problemHe did and returned with a list of things his mechanic foundHe then stated to me and my salesman that he was fine with everything
except for a couple of things he wanted addressedWe then sent the truck to our mechanic at which time those items he wanted addressed were fixed He returned on March 15th and was completely satisfied with what was fixedHe also purchased an extended service contract at the time the deal was doneA few days later he mentioned there was something wrong with the truckWe told him to take it to our mechanic which was around March 17thHe never showed up and never contacted us again until May 26thOn May 24th a family member who was also on the deal with him came to our dealership trying to trade the vehicle back inThe family member said the person who made this complaint had left the family and had been gone for around months on a "drug binge." Then on May 26th he suddenly called our salesperson Ricky and demanded we fix more things or he was getting a lawyerAt that point I again instructed him to go to our mechanic and use his extended warrantyHe did at that time go to our mechanic and our mechanic called me and said this person was threatening lawyers and also was very noticeably on drugsOur mechanic refused to work with this customer in his state of mindThis customer has an extended warranty and can take the truck to any repair shop he choosesAgain, we fixed the issues he originally requested at the time the deal was done
