The Piscataway office was facing a challenge and had to reach out to another office for their help. Mid-Atlantic does not consider each office it's own entity, we are family and do whatever it takes even if it means calling in reinforcements from other offices to lend a hand. We do appreciate the [redacted] for allowing Mid-Atlantic to come back and honor the warranty and at this time we do feel that their concern has been rectified. If there any other future questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out.

We will try scheduling another service call to resolve these issues.

I apologize for the late response. A refund check was mailed to the [redacted] on 7-20-2017. They should have received it by now.

I really appreciate all the help from Revdex.com. Without you, I don't know what else I can do to let them response.

A refund was processed in the amount of $2,880 on 7-26-2017. Please see attached refund receipt. I do apologize for the wait.

We have refunded $500.00 to this customer. If anything further is required please let us know. Thank You,   Steven BGeneral Manager

We have reached out to The [redacted]'s and tried to schedule a service appointment.  Unfortunately they again refused to allow us to service their home.We have a warranty and they claimed to have an outside firm do repairs.Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing can not be responsible for work related to outside firms. Thank You,Steven BGeneral Manager

We have beed out for repairs on several occasions.  There seems to be issues not pertaining to our system.  However we are there again today 6/20/17 to try and rectify any problems.

I am rejecting this response because:MidAtlantic's suggestion to send another service call as a remedy is no longer an option, since MidAtlantic didn't previously respond with any options to resolve our issues within a reasonable time of our water leaks. Timing was of the essence due to mold potential.  We've allowed more than sufficient time for them to handle appropriately, since our initial post-installation call with them in late June.  With standing water in our basement, we were left with no option but to engage a separate contractor in August to help us to resolve the origin of the problem.  Since the June date of our alerting them of our initial leak up until this writing, MidAtlantic would not even acknowledge our issue as their responsibility, let alone provide for a solution when we needed it most.  They left us with no choice but after 6 weeks waiting for them, to engage another contractor to resolve the situation. It appears that we've unnecessarily purchased a waterproofing guaranteed system from MidAtlantic, which would not have otherwise been needed had the origin of the issue been addressed.  At this point we are just looking to be made whole, by MidAtlantic paying us back for a system that ultimately didn't waterproof our basement as it was described to and guaranteed.

Unfortunately Mr. [redacted] is looking to get out of paying.  We have rendered services and have sent service to take care of the issues.   They are refusing to pay the finance company that bought the loan they have. We are more than happy to service the areas we did work on, but they need to honor the financial agreement.   Steven B Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing

I am rejecting this response because:
Once again MidAtlantic has not written the truth!  We had placed two service calls in July and August with no resolution from them.  We cited our warranty and MidAtlantic said we were not covered.  They had not responded any further to use since then (other than thru Revdex.com) nor offered any action to resolve our leaks.  Today, Sept 27 they called to schedule a service call for Oct 10.  We were not clear on what prompted this call today, since they've not responded to our requests for repair back in July and Aug. In late Aug we had to engage an outside contractor to fix what MidAtlantic would not even acknowledge was their responsibility or offer any solution for repair.  We had informed MidAtlantic via certified mail and email of our intention to resolve the situation ourselves if they do not respond to do so.  They did not respond and we had to take the next necessary steps to resolve the leak with another contractor.  We did not “refuse” their service call, there was no logical reason for them to initiate one at this point.

Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I went to the business, they gave me the receipt. I contacted the credit card company and they confirmed receipt of the funds- they just had not notified me of such. Thank you for your assistance and I apologize for any inconvenience.

This custromer had changed original order and chose to have the lower half of there basement serviced.  They had also called stating the the serviced area had some leaks.  We sent a service tech and resolved the area of leakage.  If they are experiencing problems from areas that were...

not serviced they are not warranteed for that area. Thank You,  Steven BGeneral Manager

We are in contact with engineer and waiting for reports.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  The responses from MidAtlantic are not only accusatory but outright lies.   First and foremost, we are not trying to get out of paying, in fact we've already begun paying the invoices received from [redacted] and we are up-to-date with our payments.  Please speak with [redacted] should you require further confirmation. We are simply trying to get MidAtlantic to abide by their waterproofing guarantee as stated in our contract. MidAtlantic folks did come to our home on two separate occasions for two separate leaks, but did NOT resolve either leak.  Instead they had us speak to several different folks with each [redacted] (subcontractor) and the Rob M (MidAtlantic employee) informing us that Steve or Dan will call us back to discuss the leaks... neither has done so. Their only contact with us since those visits has been through the Revdex.com portal.  There has been no remedy to either of the leaks on their behalf during or after their site visits.  In fact, we were left with a wet basement for three weeks before we had to hire another contractor to help resolve the situation.  Nor have they been anything other than resistant towards us once the job was completed and their payment received.
Regards,
[redacted] & [redacted]
