Fake company, poor service
In the beginning I was excited about this Opportunity, It has been a rocky journey and not at all what I expected. I am disappointed that I put my time and energy into finding a home with a company I thought would accommodate me and my family. There has been issues from beginning to current. Firstly when you're looking for homes you will always get out bid because they throw out low ball offer's so when you finally find a home you're so excited that you wind up practically settling for something you really didn't want in the 1st place Because you went through so many homes already, your kust glad someone finally accepted an offer ot they finally negotiated.
The 1st issue was me paying $6040 for my move in deposit that they claimed later they didn't have and I mentioned that it was already paid prior to me moving in (pleaae keep all your emails and receipts)
Before I moved in on Dec 9th the ledger was not updated meaning it still showed me owning my deposit plus my rent, they assured me it would be updated by thw time I moved in and it wasn't, and by thw time jan 1st came and rent was due again it still showed and by the time my 1st month rent was paid it still showed I owe the deposit. I then received an eviction notice stating I owe WHICH I DID NOT, I went through hoops for them to finally see that it was their error Period

I called home Partners and told them about the issue I was having with their property management company called pathlight, which is who you start dealing with omce you move in and they do not communicate with well and they are never on the same page.
Once getting past me finally reaching someone in home partners that reached out to path light that finally reached out to me in dealing with the deposit error and the eviction notice in error and fees added,I finally thought I can move on but that was not the case.
I did the move in review and found several issues And submitted them and they were not addressed.
I had to message and message to get a response and I would always get email saying someone will call me to address the issue and someone would call me finally but they would never showed up to fix my issue. I moved in December 9th and told them I had a leak from my ceiling And no one responded for weeks I went over a month with water bubbling in my ceiling amd it burst open which could be a health hazard due to mold.
When I finally got someone out to look at the ceiling they only looked at it just to say I'll send the information over and someone will be in touch and that took even longer and by the time someone came to fix the issue they didn't even fix the real issue and left me with the big hole in my ceiling which noone ever called me back to repair.
I only got one real issue fixed and have the hardest time communicating with pathlight about everything.
I am also now once again am getting charges in addition to my February rent that do not belong and keeps popping up on my portal where I pay my rent.
I cannot seem to reach anyone about this there are several Charges that do not belong that are hundreds of dollars, at this point They are in breach of their contract and I am at the point where I am going to Sue them and do a story on the news to show people around the world not to get any homes through home partners or deal with their property management company path light.
I can go on and on but I will leave it here because I get so frustrated when I think about all the other things that has transpired that I have not even mentioned yet.

Pathlight management and home partners of america are truly an unorganized companyWe rented to own a property that we moved into in late summer of The property was purschased from the original owners of the house prior to being moved intoThe original owners of the house left items that we stored in the houseWe also painted and did some updating out of pocketsThe property was left in better condition then when we movedInThey kept a majority of my security deposit penelizing me for the proevious owners porperty being stored by meI also called and emailed pathlight with concerns I had prior to moving out and they never responded to me As per our lease aggreement they never did a final walkthru with me prior to moving outThey also required me to get a home owners insurance policy with thier names on my title including my own which I found out is illegal I had several flooded basements due to equiptment failures they claimed they repairedI am currently in the process of demanding my security desposit backI have also reported them to the Revdex.com

Professional people providing a reliable and professional serviceTheir response when needed is prompt with a Great Customer Service AttitudeAll company representatives encountered were consistent in a high level of service

Pathlight Property Management has been great to work withThey have been positively reactive and proactive in all aspects of managing our propertyIf it needs handled, they have handled itI would recommend them to anyone

Worst management company I had a leak, they fixed that But the plumber cut out holes in the walls to get to the leaks and the carpet was soaked They said someone would fix the damage but I have had no calls from them, despite calling them repeatedly
