I am rejecting this response because:
The original title has 51,I called *** *** on 02/22/to obtain that information..when I purchased the vehicle yes it had 37,How can this be possible? Highland Park Motors did something to the odometer reader

we got the title paperwork from the NJMVC back in December We purchased this *** from the ** *** auto auction from *** - *** LT on 10/30/with 37,miles and sold it to *** on 11/26/with 37,milesWe looked at the NJ Reassignment from that purchase and the mileage at that time, which we correctly indicated, was 37,On the title, however, the NJMVC in Edison mistakenly entered the mileage as 379,Again we did not notice that until today! As the Carfax report says, this entry may just be a clerical errorThe NJMVC added an extra "9" on the titleWe are not responsible for that! Since she is financing this vehicle, she needs to reach out to her finance company and the motor vehicle agency to rectify this issue

We purchased this car from [redacted] LT at the [redacted] auto auction on 10/30/2013. At the time of purchase, the Altima had 37,964 miles. Received complaint regarding an odometer rollback on a 2010 [redacted] Altima we sold to [redacted] on 11/26/2013. The mileage when we sold it was 37,998 miles. We looked back at our records from the motor vehicle paperwork when we processed her title and located the NJ Reassignment. At that time we correctly indicated the mileage to be 37,998 miles. In fact this customer is financing the vehicle and the company always runs a vehicle history report before purchasing any finance contract. If there had been a problem they would not have financed this vehicle. We received this complaint, which is the first we are hearing of any problems, and ran a Carfax Vehicle History Report. We see that the odometer was wrongly noted by the local NJ Motor Vehicle Agency. As we stated the correct mileage at the time of sale was 37,998 miles but the NJMVC in Edison mistakenly entered the mileage as 379,998 miles. The NJMVC added an extra "9" on the title. As the Carfax report says, this entry may just be a clerical error. We were not aware of that as titles with a lien are sent directly to the lienholder from the motor vehicle. We are not responsible for that.
