Review: I hired him to represent me in a divorce/custody case. Hasn't done anything. I can't never get a hold of him. His secretary says she will have him call me but he never returns my calls. She always has some excuse why he isn't there and I was suppose to get my papers and money back on 1/21/15. When I went to get them, once again he wasn't there and another excuse she said she couldn't give me anything. All I want is my money refunded and my divorce papers back.Desired Settlement: The amount that I gave.

Revdex.comServing Western Pennsylvania[redacted]ATTENTION: [redacted]RE: Complaint submitted on 01/22/2015 @ 8:13:10 A.M. ID: [redacted]Dear [redacted]:In response to your letter dated January 23, 2015, I would like to explain the following:1. [redacted] entered my office to handle a custody matter which had already been filed by his children’s mother. Hearing had already been scheduled for a date certain and [redacted] was assured that I calendared the matter and would represent him at hearing. I quoted him a fee of $650.00 and he paid half that amount.2. Although the hearing date had been set, [redacted] had yet to receive the Complaint which initiated the action. I informed him that paperwork would be coming to him in the near future as it was being sent certified while the hearing notice came via regular mail.3. [redacted] called my office saying he had received paperwork. I was unavailable but told my secretary to let him know that it was the Complaint which I already told him to expect at our initial meeting.4. [redacted] called additional times for the same purpose. I returned his calls, at least four separate times both from my office and from my personal cell. He failed to answer any time and his phone had no voice mail.5. [redacted], in the period of 3 days, became belligerent with my office, demanding his money back. I told my secretary he could have it and his file. He may have come one time to my office to receive his refund but had not given us a particular day or time so no one waspresent to assist him.6. After another phone call to complain we were not in the office, he was given a time to come in. He was refunded his down payment, in full, without my even taking out a fee for consultation, and given his file, on January 28, 2015. As he did on the first day I met him, [redacted] came to the office reeking of alcohol. This may explain his misunderstanding of what I had told him initially, his belligerence, and his impatience. 7. In no way have [redacted]'s rights or his case been compromised. His hearing does not take place until February 26, 2015. Very truly yours,[redacted]
