that we would do our best to make the house look as, good as we could, but it would not look like new siding. We used Top of line primer & finish from Dawn Edwards. I came back on two separate occasions with both the Husband & wife & I touched up were they said needed it. They told me all was good. This is the first time of hearing anything from the job a year later. I have been in business 30 years with no complaints, I am very proud of this. I believe this is a case of wanting my company to make a new looking House of a very old one!

In regards to [redacted]'s denial of communication, we have multiple text messages that clearly show our efforts to get this job completed. These text messages include multiple efforts to contact him to get him and his crew to work; this "2-week" project extended into three months. Our final text message to him was, "Are you completely done?", to which he replied he was. We asked this because we had not heard from him and we were in complete shock that even an amateur would sign off on a job done to this marginal level. We are aware the house is old, and never expected it to look brand new; however, the paint is literally falling off. With regard to the overspray on the fence, [redacted] said the fence looked old and thought we were taking it down. Why he came to this conclusion is beyond me as he did not have unilateral authority to make physical changes to my home that was outside the scope of the contract. This has nothing to do with the age of the home, but has everything to do with quality of work, or lack thereof. We have multiple photos showing the less than stellar quality of work (Attached). These photos clearly show [redacted] is in breach of his contract and therefore, we are in every right to receive a full refund or have him complete the job right and in a timely manner, as we initially agreed upon. Please advise which option [redacted] would prefer.

I believe that the client is trying to get a perfect job out of the house that was built in 1925 and it was in poor poor shape

If you see the pictures provided this is clearly not trying to get a perfect job out of a old house. The paint that was applied is separating from the surface and literally falling off the house. It started to bubble in spots right after painting was complete and I brought it to his attention. He told me that this paint does this, that it's flexible or something of that nature. i'm not a professional but have painted on wood, old wood, and new wood and never had this happen. Did he know the paint would not last in a 12 month time span? Does he really think that it's acceptable and fair? I hope not. It is very clear that this is a defect in the painting process used on my house.
