Review: In October of 2011 I contacted Mr. Lomax to represent me in a business matter. I sent Mr. Lomax a check to file the paperwork on my behalf as I now live out of state. Mr. Lomax cashed my check and did not contact me again. I contacted him several times to inquire about the status of this matter and I have been told by him each time that he was out of the office and would get back with me. We have since moved again with the military and I emailed Mr. Lomax with my contact information and requested a refund. The time limit has passed for my filing of my case and I would like my money back as he did not do any work on my behalf.Desired Settlement: I would like the amount of $259.00 returned to me as Mr. Lomax did not follow through on our verbal contract to file paperwork on my behalf and represent me in my upcoming case. The statue of limitation on my case has expired and I am unable to file again. Mr. Lomax was paid by check which was cashed by him.
