I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.My rebuttal to the business's response is that it neither addresses my complaint (which was that the policy of not allowing a test drive without purchase does not agree with what the Chevrolet website says that this dealership's policy is) nor are the facts accurate, which the business reports (I was not asking for the Zin particular, and I was willing to provide a full credit check and even my no limit creditcard). Now more than ever, since the dealership response is inaccurate and skirting my complaint, I require a written apology or a clear explanation of why the Chevrolet website stated that Obrien Chevrolet has corvettes available for test drive, but I was denied that when I showed up there.Regards,

It is our company policy that anyone that is looking to purchase a Corvette, especially the Zversion due it’s very limited availability, high collectability and extremely high performance level (650HP, speed manual transmission), that we come to terms on the purchase of it before a test drive
is taken At that point, we then run a credit check and/or bank statement balance check depending on the customer’s choice of purchase Once the terms are reached and everything is verified a test drive is then taken If the customer decides that they then do not want to purchase the vehicle after the test drive for whatever reason, the buyer’s agreement and deal is backed out and nullified.Everything stated above was not relayed to the customer in totality while they were in store because we were cut off twice while trying to explain it before they stormed out Also, our sales/store staff currently includes, and always has included, men and women from all backgrounds We service customers from all backgrounds and do not refuse sales or services to anyone based on who they are, what they look like or where they come from It's part of our philosophy to take care of every customer to the best of our abilities no matter what.If the customer would still like to look into purchasing the vehicle, or any other vehicle, from us we would be more then happy to accommodate them based on the above policy and standards.Pat O'Brien Chevrolet East
This is our response to a complaint filed by *** *** ID ***Upon review of the customers service records we have found that the customer came into the dealership May 13th and commented he had a transmission leakThe technician assigned to his repair is a wold class certified
Corvette specialistHis findings were the vehicle had both transmission and fluid leaksAn estimate for repairs was given and the customer approved some of the needed repairsresulting in a repair bill totaling $The repair work was completed May 23rd July 12th customer returned with a transmission fluid leak concernOur inspection determined the front pump of the transmission was faulty resulting in a leakDue to parts availability and customers recent investment we made a no charge goodwill repair even though the pump was not previously replacedDuring this visit the technician was called to go to a training program and while we were waiting for parts the vehicle did remain at our facility as it was disassembled for repairs This repair was completed July 31st April 20th customer returned stating that the vehicle had a hesitation concern as if vehicle was in neutral around mphTwo service technicians inspected the vehicle and could only duplicate the concern onceCustomer was not charged for their time investedSome suggestions for a possible remedy were presented to the customer but repairs were declined
