We would like to apologize for the incident that occurred on December 30th, at the Main Street Village
fitness center/gymnasiumWe do have a policy, and signage, that children ages and under are not allowed to be in the gymnasium unsupervised by an adultOur employee was in the clubhouse, but not with them in the gym when this occurred
A mistake was made and we have addressed the incident internallyWe have also ordered signage that no one under the age of can be in the fitness center unsupervised
We will also be mailing an apology letter on behalf of Marquette Management, Main Street Village Apartments, and the employee, to the resident's to which this incident occurred

The response to a separate filing describing employee misconduct is accepted and is much appreciatedHowever, the response does not address the billing issue regarding water meter readings for this specific filing

*** *** does not recall speaking to *** regarding her water bill or usage fees or indicating there were meter reading problems to any residentIf we had taken a call regarding high usage at a unit, we would have initially notified maintenance to ensure there were no leaksIn addition, the billing for water is done by a third party company, electronicallyThat is Conservice
We took a look into the resident's water usageThe average usage and billing charges are not excessiveThe meter readings indicate three of the first five readings, on the unit during the current resident's lease term, were estimated and two indicate no reading was taken and an estimated reading was used for billing
The resident's average water usage charge from 6/16/through 1/1/(last water usage charged to the account) is *** This is not outside the range in our community for similar sized unitsIn addition, the average water usage, once the billing/meter was corrected (as noted on the readings), is 3,gallonsOnce again, this is not outside the range in our community for similar sized units
Some months are only estimated, some are an average, and some are true upsWe have attached a copy of the readings for reference
We do apologize if *** may have spoken to a leasing agent rather than Erin and the message did not get passed along
