dif?cult and took longer to load onto a ?atbedOur rates for a vehicle that we take to our impound lot due to either an accident, abandoned vehicle, arrest, etc has an automatic hofee of $and mileage fee of $per mile when dispatched from a police department. Due to the nature of the vehicle a $labor charge was also added and there is a storage fee of $a day per calendar dayThe vehicle was stored until tlie next day and would have been charged days of storageThis bill would be $ho+ $labor + $mileage + $100 storage = $435.However, when the customer called the next day to inquire about picking the vehicle up, the customer had stated that they will have a hard time paying for the billThey had said they have $330, but wants it ?xed alsoThey said they won't get paid until the 3rd and wanted to know if we could do a payment planThey were told we wouldn't be able to work out a payment plan and let the vehicle leave the lot before being paid in fullWe told them we would take off l day storage and discount the bill by an additional $and ultimately reduce the bill by $105. The customers came to pick the *** *** up and had a friend come about minutes later with a trailer to tow the vehicleDue to the condition of the vehicle the customer was not going to be able to load the vehicle by themselvesOne of our tow tmck drivers pushed the vehicld up the ramp of the trailer using one of our tow trucks and held it there while the customer was gonnai put the vehicle back in park.However, the customer had actually locked their keys in the ***Our tow truck driver then grabbed a lock out kit and unlocked the *** so it could be put back in park and‘ the tow truck could drive away without the vehicle rolling off the customer's trailerThe customer then strapped the vehicle down and was able to tow it awayThe customer was not charged any additional fees for the loading of the vehicle onto the trailer or for the unlocking of the vehicleThey were only ever charged $330.Sincerely,VJ Wood Recovery
