I would not recommend the Miami, Florida station of Patriot Auto Transport LLC
Let me tell you why
They originally contacted me when I requested that my car be shipped, and also had the lowest price - at least $under other quotesSo, we exchanged information and told me that, should I so make my car available within the next couple days (I got in contact with them on Monday of that week) I'd certainly have it by that week's SaturdaySame day pickup, same day drop offSounds great, I thought!
A day passedTwo passedI heard nothing from them, and finally I called them on Wednesday asking for updates; I needed information so that I could let the person releasing my car know what was upAnd they had zero"Give us a bit more time, we just need a little more time," was what they said, and what they KEPT saying each and every single day until TUESDAY of the following weekTHEY called ME and said, "We got a carrier! He can pick up tomorrow."
"Great!" I repliedI was busy at the moment, so I told them I'd call them backSo, twenty minutes later when I did, their message changed: "Yeah, the carrier can pick up Friday and he'll drop it off Monday."
WhatNo"That's not what you said to me earlier," I repliedThey skirted around my statement, saying that there was only one carrier who replied to their route inquiry and claimed that he'd really only be able to do so those daysI told them I couldn't have my car any later than Saturday; I'm military and my schedule isn't constantI wasn't sure if I'd be able to pickup the vehicle if it got dropped off Monday, PLUS they were already a week late on when they said they'd originally get me my car
They gave me the carrier's information and phone number and said, "We'll keep trying to find someone but we've locked in this carrier, don't worry!" Oh, and also, the price (including their deposit), guess what, raised another $from what they quoted me
Fast forward fifteen minutes and the carrier himself calls meHe explains everything that's going on, that the transporter company itself likes to play games and cancel and fill spot sporadically on each truck, sometimes without notifying the carrier at allHe reassured me and gave me SPECIFIC times and dates, ACTUAL information, stuff I waited a week+ for from Patriot AutoAND he said he'd pick it up that Thursday and could get it to me Friday or Saturday, whichever I wanted and whichever was easiest to me
I finally got everything scheduled through the carrier himself; if you can, please please please do this instead, don't go through transport companies and just pay a little bit more directly to the carrierDon't use Patriot Auto Transport LLC
TLDR; Patriot Auto Transport is wishy-washy, won't give you direct information, and likes to play games with both you and the carrierGo directly to a carrier himself (I recommend ** ***
