I am rejecting this response because: It appears it is best to handle this matter in small claims court as it seems we are at an impass with Mr. P[redacted] and his understanding of the facts.

Patriot has been the best oil company I have felt with.They are very reasonable priced they even shoveled my path

As to respond to [redacted] complaint, on 10/19/15 Patriiot  oil was contacted by [redacted] complaining of  oil that was seeping from the top of their oil tank. We responded within 15 minutes of said compaint.  I received a call from my dispatcher Ron, he advised me...

that oil wasd leaking from the top of the oil tank gauge and that he placed 1/2 bag  of speedy dry down. I advised him to put another half bag on top of what was already down. Everything was all set with [redacted], My worker said that he was pleased on how fast we responded and even offered my worker a beer.(which he did not except)My worker Ron left and went to get another half bag speedy dry , as he returned later with the speedy dry [redacted] was home and talking to her home owners ins. telling my worker that she wanted my ins.carriors number cause she wanted to put in a claim and that she had friends that were Attorneys. I called her and advised her that I would be there in the morning and not to worry for now. The next day day I was there in the morning and put her at ease and said if its my fault I will take care of was ruined  and in the direct path of the oil, that right now lets get the problem taking care of . I advised them both that by me being there I was not admitting to fault. After the speedy dry was cleaned up the whole oil tank was degreased. I even brought a contracter there that replaced two by fours and sheet rock leaving the area better then it was in the first place. I was told by [redacted] that a sleeping bag and some hockey gear might have been contaminated and that he was gonna get intouch with me. He was very pleased on how the basement was left end returned to better condition that it was before. A week later I received a letter how all kinds of stuff was ruined. and that they wanted a check for $3,512.12  After calling [redacted] and telling him how that estimate was absurd he said that he would give me to wednesday and then he was gonna take me to small claims court. I immediately called my insurance adjuster, she advised me that she would call them and in the mean time  I should have a Proffessional Heating  Contracter. go there to inspect said tank. I  hired a Co. called [redacted] out of [redacted] phone number###-###-#### The owner Orlin has called the [redacted] several times to set up a time to go to the residence to inspect the tank (pressure test it) if indeed it is faulty equipment.   In fact before any other oil Co.  deliver oil there, the whistle which is not to code and the gauge should be fixed cause an oil tank should  be sealed from the inside.   I have done everything in my power as to date to keep the [redacted] happy.  Now the price has gone up from $3,0000 to $4.000 that they are requesting.  I'm still waiting for [redacted]'S report  so this could be resolved and the items that were contaiminated should be put aside so that they could be inspected.  Any question please feel free to contact me.         Thank you
