Patriot Exploration Corp. Reviews (1)

Review: [redacted] On October 8, 2004 I signed a gas lease with Patriot Exploration for 55 acres of our family trust property and a gas lease for 2 acres of my wife and I’s personal property. Their saleswoman told me that I had to unitize our two properties and add them to a 640 acre tract in order to get free gas. I asked her why? She said that it was law. Taking her word for it, I agreed to it. Many months later, coming to find out that she had lied to me, that it wasn’t law, that it was bogus, I challenged Mr. [redacted] then vice president of Patriot Exploration. Here is some of what transpired. I sent the following to Mr. [redacted] on December 27, 2006 at 1:57 p.m.:

Dear [redacted], Thank you for your positive response to the status of the unitization. It was a relief for Trust beneficiaries. However, some concern remains. You stated that Patriot has no plans whatsoever to add other parties to our unit; thus, we feel it a reasonable request that you legally amend the document such that our unit be limited to acreage of our current two properties. Yours truly, [redacted], Trustee.

With months passing and no response, I threatened a law suit for fraud because of being lied to. If I am given the option, I can attach a pdf file of Mr. [redacted]'s response in a lease amendment document dated April 2, 2007 from Mr. [redacted] notarized, signed, and voluntarily surrendering their right forever to put our properties back into a larger tract. After receiving it I had it recorded at the [redacted] County Courthouse. Later, when I got to know about [redacted] gas, I also got to know the reason for the 640 acre tract fabrication.

Fast forwarding to the present, [redacted] Company is now signing up properties to drill for [redacted] gas in our immediate area. Could that document not be worth the paper it is written on? 1. Can Patriot Exploration legally and without violating our lease agreements or the lease amendment document dated April 2, 2007 include our properties in the [redacted] Company local project, or any project for that matter, without our permission? 2. If Patriot Exploration somehow can, has it already done so and/or does it intend to do so? I mailed [redacted] on February 12th, 16th, and 18th and have yet to receive a response.Desired Settlement: As co-owner of the property rights they are leasing I unquestionably have the right to have these questions answered. I would like Mr. Stilley to provide the Revdex.com with clear, unambiguous answers to these two questions so that the Revdex.com can forward them to me.
