This buyer is under misconception about the Builders responsibility in this mailbox matterFirst of all the builder never met or spoke with this buyer prior to the closing of propertyShe did all her communicating with Realtor therefore there could not have been any promises made hence none could
have been brokenThe buyer complains of the mailboxes not being installed at her residenceThe builder has to follow the precise requirements that are on the approved subdivision plan, which is a matter of public record at the town, and the plan shows no mailboxes of any kind whether individual or common CBUThese units are generally provided for a multi unit complexes such as condominiums, which have an association and are using a private roadThis subdivision was approved in and five other houses on *** *** *** *** are part of this subdivision and they do not have a CBU or any mailboxes that were provided by the builderAfter consulting with the RI Contractors Registration board the Builder was assured that he was doing things properly and not required or expected to provide mailboxes for private home buyersThe builder was not the salesperson for this property as suggested by the buyerThe realtor was the salesperson and once again the buyer states things improperlySince there was no agreement between the buyer and the builder of any kind there is no dollar amount in disputeThe arbitrary dollar amount that the buyer mentions is erroneous

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. Please add your rejection comments below.
I have called the City of West Greenwich, Coventry Post Office, and RI Contractors' Registration & Licensing Board.  They have all informed me that it is the builder's responsibility to install the mailbox units. I asked the Director of the Coventry Post Office if I could install a mailbox at the top of the subdivision and she said no, only the builder can. I am not legally allowed to do so. She said new laws were passed a couple of years ago that entitles the builder to install the CBU's for new subdivisions. The City of West Greenwich (Planning Director) confirmed that as well.  Also, see attached from the office of Representative [redacted].  If I cannot legally install the mailbox units, I don't know why the builder is refusing.
Regards,
[redacted]

Review: I recently had Patriot Homes build a house for myself. We had a signed contract and we purchased the house for $382,500 on 3/14/2014. My primary complaint is that **. [redacted] the owner of Patriot Homes Inc. did not provide a final grade for my lot at [redacted]. He has promised to come back and repair the yard but will not do so right now. It has been 5 weeks since **. [redacted] promised to regrade and bring in topsoil to make said repairs. There are thousands over rocks in the yard and lumps in the dirt. I cannot even mow my grass, as it will consistently hit rocks and throw them out, it actually is dangerous to do so. There is hardly any part of the lawn that is acceptable, which he agreed and said he would repair. I have brought in a contractor/excavator who has verbally communicated to myself that it needs probably 6-8 truckloads of topsoil. **. [redacted] did not provide any topsoil whatsoever. I have also spoken to contractor who did the actual grading of the lawn for **. Tomsey. He stated that he did a rough grade on the lot, not a final grade. He stated that is what he was paid to do, but in his opinion the lot needs a lot of topsoil. Water has eroded many any areas around the house. I can actually see the tar that was put around the foundation of the house, I believe this is not correct. I have sent **. [redacted] a certified letter that was received by his PO Box on April 25, 2014. He has yet to sign for it. In the letter I requested that either **. [redacted] complete the job he never finished or I would hire someone else to do. I am at my wits end. He does not answer his phone only returns messages days later. He will not meet me on site. He prefers to to come the house when nobody is around to question him. I either want **. [redacted] to finish the job properly, which he has promised to do or reach a settlement where I can get somebody to do the job correctly. My house is beautiful, my yard is embarrassing. His contractor/excavator has also recommended the lot be final graded and topsoil brought in,.Desired Settlement: Finish the job ASAP. If not ,I should be able to hire someone to do it correctly. But I need a commitment from **. [redacted] to do it correctly and in a timely manner.
