regards to the complaint filed by Mr [redacted].  On [redacted]3, Mr [redacted] had his 1979 Dodge pickup towed to Patriot's. After inspection it was detemnined that the transmission internally failed. Mr [redacted] was given an estimate for a transmission overhaul and agreed to the price. patriot's completed the overhaul as agreed. Patriot's also gave Mr [redacted]  an estimate for a rear differential  overhaul and oil leaks. Customer decline additional work.

 

On [redacted]3, Mr [redacted]  returned to Patriot's, reporting a oil leak and popping out of gear. Patriot's adjusted the linkage, solving the popping out of gear issue. Patriot's replaced the transmission pan gasket at customers request Customer informed  Patriot's that transmission pan gasket will never seal unless silicone is used. Patriot's told customer this information is incorrect. Patriot's used a cork gasket without sealant Customer picked up vehicle once completed.

 

On [redacted]3, customer brought vehicle back, demanding  Patriot's once again replace the transmission pan and gasket Customer  stated he found a leak. Patriot's never found a transmission pan leak. Patriot's again, replace the transmission  pan and gasket to salify customer. Patriot's test drove the vehicle 5 times over a two day period and no transmission pan leaks found. Patriot's once again informed customer of the multiple engine oil leaks. Customer came to pick up vehicle with his wife. Customer was rude and accused Patriot's of damaging his rear end differential on test drive. [redacted], General Manager, informed customer that there was an issue with the rear end differnetial upon atrrival at Patriot's and he was informed of this prior to work being completed.  Mr [redacted]  stated all employees  involved were incompetant  and shisters, his words, Customer then began making threats toward Patriot's the company and the

staff involved. At that time, Mr [redacted] was asked to leave the facility. Patriot's went above and beyond to assist Mr [redacted]. Mr [redacted]s vehicle is 45 years old, has multiple leaks and he

only authorized transmission work. Mr [redacted] continued to make phone calls to Patriot's, calling staff names and making threats. At this time, my company has done all it will do to assist Mr [redacted] due to the verbal abuse and accusations. Also, Mr and Mrs [redacted] have made false accusations on several web pages. As the owner of Patriot's, I do not appreciate false

sta.tements such as he wrote above and beyond to help Mr, [redacted].
