Went to boost mobile in el adobe plaza san juan capistrano to have phone activated left there at 9 :30 had dinner next door at the mexican resturaunt and then and left at 10:30 and my van would not start, I popped the hood and began diagnosing the problem. At around 11 pm I saw a patrolmaster vehucle drive by and the gyarx driving didnt even look at me so I paid no further mind to him. Over the next 2 hours only the liqour store I was parked near was open and I shopped in thier twice and a third time to use the owners phone. A friend didnt show to help and since my phone stopped working I walked accross the street to starbucks to use the wifi to call him and then accross to the shell station to use the restroom and get a cup of coffee.returning at 3 am my van was gone. Unfortunatelty I have had a bad couple of months and have had to make my van home temporarily. All my tools to work, my cash, present for my.sons 16th birthday, clothes, toiletries, ect. were in that van. I hd just earned enough money to fuel it up to go see my son for his 16th birthday and spend thanksgiving with familt instead for the last four days ive been on foot had to sleep outdoors wearing the same clothes with out anything I need while being ignored hung up on not called back or provuded proof of this bwing a legitamite tow. They claim I was away from my vehicle at 11pm and they had pborographic evudence but cannot seem to provude them therfore upon the next visit from thier security guard he observed the vehicle empty again and calle the tow company. These are lies and the immature ryde operatora at thier call center do not follow through with calling me back after claiming he was going to look into whether this was a "good" or "bad" tow, apparently they have terms for these tows. They have made me mias work and time wigh my family and caused me to suffer on foot through a holiday for 6 days now without the leasr bit of empathymy. I demand my vehi le returned and co.pensation for lossing work and the other hardships ive descfibed.

Good afternoon,I am showing your vehicle was towed on 11/9/2017 at 1:29 Am because it wasn't on the safelist. You called into our office on 11/1/2017 at 5Pm and request to safelist the vehicle and you only requested 7 days and you were advised that the safelist would expire on 11/8/2017 at 5:04Pm....

After the safelist expired it's your responsible to ensure your vehicle is re-safelisted to ensure it is no towed. As for the incorrect vehicle information. Yes there was an error but everything is tracked by your license plate number and there is no errors with the plate. I have attached the phone recording for you to review, if you have any other questions please let me know. [redacted]

Review: I called the Patrol Master company informing them I had a temporary vehicle that would parked outside for about 5 days. The representative had informed me that they were not enforcing any rules until October 1st. Well, my motorcycle was towed either 9/29 in the evening or 9/30 early morning, either way, NOT 10/1. When I called the company again, I had told them I was told they were not enforcing any rules in our community and the person just said, "Nope, I don't know what your talking about. We've been enforcing them". So they are telling people one thing (not enforcing the rules) and doing another (enforcing the rules).Desired Settlement: I want a refund for my towing fees.

Review: Hey my names [redacted] and I live in the [redacted] I've been living here since I was 5 years old. I first got my license and my car at 16 it was amazing getting to have the kind of control with my life it wasn't until last year that my car was towed from my own neighborhood. it was a hard check of reality and I was heartbroken to know my own neighborhood would do this to me. Somebody told me why it happened and I had to find the parking rules on my own. So I decided I would safe list my car it worked until one night I was towed anyway even though I had safe listed it I was infuriated I had to borrow money and use my own money because I don't get paid enough to pay off the tow fee.I'm a college student at the community college it wasn't easy loosing that money and trying to survive on just a couple bucks that month. I was finally fed up with it so I called my association and they told me there was a way to receive a permit to park and I thought finally a light at the end of the tunnel I spent weeks going to my school and using my money to make copies of the paperwork needed since I had little time between work and school. I sent in the information and got my permit everything was fine for a couple weeks until I got a violation it was strange but my mother told me she was going to park in the garage and move EVERYTHING around just so that I can park in the space. I felt bad because my mother is reaching 60 and maneuvering the vital things we have in the garage is hard and shes a single mom doing all this on her own. I will admit the creativity that went into making these town homes was ingenious but they are still not very spacious for all the items we have. i'm sure you have experienced this with the lack of space that some things can only fit in the garage then why shouldn't our situation be any different?Desired Settlement: I'm not asking anything extraordinary I simply would like my permit to not be voided. I've parked here for years I have never gotten in the way of other guests parking here neither have my neighbors complained. And patrol masters are supposedly to be parking enforcement and I've never been trouble so why take away my privilege of parking in front of my own home. Our neighborhood makes us pay for patrol masters so in my opinion with our money going in I believe this shouldn't be hard to resolve.

Business Response:
The property management contracts these rules for us to enforce. In order to be eligible for a permit they must meet the communities criteria for a outside permit. She mentioned that she had to move stuff around in the garage. The permit program is designed so a resident can use their garage for "Vehicle Storage" ONLY. Which in case probably making it more difficult for the management company to approve the permit. please contact the permit department to apply for a permit.

Consumer Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID[redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,

Reasons being is I have made it clear my reasons for why we do have things in the garage it isnt easy keeping it all in the house and again I dont feel like this is such a huge request it is a large complex with many parking places most of them already reserved some unoccupied all the time. What difference would it make if we occasionally have to hold something in the garage too large that a car cant fit in it. And I have contacted the permit suppliers they told me to contact your business, look we are all human here just trying to make bu why do we have to do this. Especially since I have already been wrongfully towed and never said a thing until now this is my last solution to finally have peace and sleep easily in my bed this is all I am asking wouldnt you want that to? To have your own piece of mind in your own home?

Business Response:
Although I understand where you are coming from however these are not my policies. These policies have been put in place by your community leaders and all we do is enforce. My suggestion is that you submit something in writing to the Property Management as well as attend the monthly Board meeting to voice your concerns...

Review: On several occasions, Patrol Masters has left notices on my vehicles for not 'Safelisting' during overnight parking. All vehicles were safelisted.

Last night I called my vehicle in at around 9 PM PST. This morning my vehicle had a notice that I had not safelisted my car. As stated, I called my car in, safelisted it as normal, and now I received a notice that my car will be towed for future offenses.

My car is new and does not have plates. The gentleman helping me out last night while checking in my car asked for the last 5 of my VIN number. On my ticket, I believe the patrol officer listed what looks like the FIRST 5 of my VIN. Perhaps there was a miscommunication on his end, or perhaps additional training is in order.

Regardless, I don't want my car towed. This is NOT the first time this has happened where I have safelisted my car and it has received a notice. This is the 3rd incident. (1st time with this vehicle). I have done a bit of research online, and I am seeing a similar trend with this company.

I'm sure that this is not the first time for this neighborhood either, as I have heard numerous complaints about various patrol masters incidents.

Ticket Number [redacted], Acct ID [redacted]Desired Settlement: At this time, I am not looking for any reparations (as my car has not been towed this time).

Instead, I ask for this company to correct this issue so this does not happen in the future.

Response:

Hello,

Review: I was given false information by one of the employees working for patrol masters. My car was towed today because I exceeded the number of days to park in the visitors parking. I called patrol masters because I was told that I was allowed to park in the visitors parking 3x within a month, EVERY MONTH! Just so I was sure I understood, I asked him if my car would be taken out of their system at the end of every month and the employee replied yes and that I was able to park in the visitors again. So thinking that I would be able to park in the visitors parking in the beginning of the month, I parked it there today (4/2/2014). When I went out to go to work my car was no longer there. I called patrol masters and I spoke to the manager, Javier, and explained my situation. He told me that I was given wrong information and the way they work is by only being able to park in the visitors parking every 30 days beginning on the first day that I park there! Not only is that very confusing, but it was not explained to me at all by the first employee. If I would have known that, I would have never parked in the visitors parking. The manager was not helpful at all and was very rude. He kept trying to make me feel like it was my fault when it was actually theirs for not giving me the right information. I now have to pay $275 to take out my car. Patrol masters records all their phone calls and I actually feel like I should take them to court.Desired Settlement: Return my vehicle without having to pay.

I can pull the recorded call...I just need to know when and what number they called.

Review: Arranged for a garage inspection. Was told they only do them between 8:30pm to 10:30pm. First scheduled appt the guy never showed up to our address, we saw him leave as he told his boss on phone that we did not come out but we were standing on balcony and screamed at him to stop before he left racing out the gate. Second scheduled appt he show up late, very rude and sarcastic, told me he had lied to his boss the previous night and that he had gone to wrong address. I asked for a reciept that he had completed the garage inspection, and he refused and would not give me his name. Tried to run me over as I stood in front of his car asking him to call his boss. I had done a previous inspection at another address in the complex a year before and they lost that inspection and said I never had one, this was the same guy and he stated he remembered me but would not simply give me a receipt showing he had been there that night. Call his boss and this asian guy named Mr. [redacted] said he didn't have to give me a receipt if he didn't want to. Very unprofessional.Desired Settlement: I want a reciept and I want them to stop harassing me in this complex. They had towed my car saying I did not have a pass in the window but I clearly did have a pass. The towing company signed my receipt saying they saw the pass but were just doing the job they were told to do by patrol Masters.

Response:

I responded to her, she is making the process a lot harder and being super uncooperative, We called her 3 times on the first inspection and she did not answer, We do not knock on resident doors. Also again she is making this harder then it is for the process of getting her permit. She also was illegally detaining a patrol officer for a receipt which we do not give since a permit will be issued. The second inspection she was missing a vehicle that needed to be there for the inspection.

Review: Our car was wrongfully towed on April 17, from our HOA. We contacted the office and the patrol service on April 21 and we were told that we would be reimbursed for the tow within 12-14 days. Today is May 17, and we still have not received the check. We have attempted via several emails and phone calls to contact one of their managers, [redacted] who initially told us a week ago he would look into it for us, but nothing further has been communicated to us. We feel they are ignoring our issue instead of dealing with it quickly and appropriately.Desired Settlement: We simply would like the check in the mail by Monday morning, as well as a response by one of the managers to our multiple emails and calls apologizing for this ridiculous delay.

Business

Response:

The reimbursement check will be mailed out today. My sincere apologies for the delay. The tow company assured me it will go out today.
