With regards to [redacted] response, [redacted], our store manager at the time, stands behind her statement that the [redacted] were informed of possible color loss to their [redacted] shirt if the garment was cleaned for a second time. [redacted] told [redacted] that the shirt after the first cleaning was, in fact,  " no good to us the way it is right now." Irrespective of this conversation, we, at this point, are willing to compensate [redacted] for one-half of the value of the [redacted] shirt which is approximately $55.00. We believe that this is fair compensation for the [redacted] shirt in question.

This is a reponse to [redacted] complaint against [redacted] Cleaners and its affiliates. The [redacted] brought in a [redacted] shirt for dry cleaning and pressing. The shirt had numerous stains on the front. After the initial cleaning, we were instructed by the [redacted] to clean the...

garment again and attempt to remove the stains. The [redacted] were advised of the potential consequences of such action meaning that the garment can suffer irreversible color loss if these services were performed. The garment in question, in fact, suffered irreversible color loss.
Over the last fifteen years, we have experienced numerous problems with [redacted] silk garments with regard to color loss. This color loss is attributed to improper dye setting in the manufacturing process. We should have done a better job of explaining this to the [redacted] and I very sorry they might have experienced any rude and combative behavior in our store. However, the fact remains that against our better judgement, we were told by the [redacted] to do whatever it took to remove the spots. We cannot take full responsibility for the irreversible color loss on this garment.
Therefore, we are not willing to replace the [redacted] shirt at this time.
