that when he gave us a book containing numbers from numerical paper gift cards issued showing ones that were crossed out as redeemed. The total outstanding was about $10.000. So we agreed. Then once we signed the purchase and sale agreement we were informed that he had also issued plastic gift cards and after accepting $38,000 worth in good faith we decided we would not honor anymore since they were not a part of the information turned over to us at closing and we were under no obligation to honor the plastic cards according to our Attorney. Furthermore we saw that after the closing Mr. [redacted] was handing out gift cards at the [redacted] Dog track as well. The gift card we have received was stamped on a gift certificate that we determined was most likely fraudulent.
