Her front tires measured 2 32nds and 3 32nds in the rear. 2 32nds Fails a NYS Inspection and any inspection station can tell you that. The rear tires passed inspection but barely. The front did not. So with her vehicle she would have to replace the 2 front tires to pass NYS Inspection and the rears were not good for winter driving or rain so we recommend the rears too.
we did not give her a $1000 estimate for just tires. See attachment. Tires, wheel bearing, NYS Tire Tax, and labor for the wheel bearing, shop supplies and NYS Sales Tax.
