They charged an application fee x2 times, citing that the guarantor applicant must pay the application fee and so must the tenant regardless of eligibility or not. promise to refund on application fee was not met when only 75 of the total 150 $ were returned, citing that applications for guarantor are non refundable. This was not stated until after payment
We changed ownership and this complaint was under the previous management. However, based on our record the guarantor application was never paid. Therefore, we had to take it out of the admin fee refund to cover the cost to screen the application.
When I turned in an application for this apartment, *** required a deposit at the same time. She assured me that the deposit was fully refundable, multiple times.
A week later I was called by *** who told me that I have to put down a significantly larger deposit in which I informed them that I would not be able to do so.
When I went to get my original deposit back, *** refused to give it to me.
I received a notice in the mail regarding a complaint filed against us by ***. ID # *** I had been in on going contact with the customer and have resolved the issue. Below is the last email of our conversation and I have had no further response regarding the issue. We have refunded the amount that was the deposit and cleared up the misunderstanding. Thank you
