Review: We used their services but the limousine didn't have Air Conditioner on a day that was over 100 degrees.

It was my wedding date and the weather was over 105 degrees. They picked up the bridal party at my house at 2pm and when we got in the limo we were really hot and it wasn't cooling down so we asked the driver if the AC was working and he said no and that he also was really hot.

He drove us to the church and then we went to take pictures. We were about 18 people in the limo including 3 kids and we were all sweating and uncomfortable. The kids were crying so much because they were really hot. We were all in long dresses and tuxedos.

We complained to the driver and he told us to call the owner and complain and that he didn't think it was fair either for us to pay for the service and be so miserable and that it wasn't his fault...he was really nice and understood that we didn't get what we paid for.

We called the owner Frank and he basically told us that there was nothing he could do and basically told us that we were lying and that he personally inspects all the vehicles before they leave.Desired Settlement: We don't expect a full refund but at least 25% after all we didn't get what we paid for.

They should have sent another vehicle, specially knowing the weather was that hot and it was my special day. The total cost was $595 for 4 hours.

To whom it may concern,

I spoke with [redacted] only once and that was when she made the limousine reservation, after that she did not contact my office to complain about any issue. If any of her wedding party demanding money is wrong and against law. I remember a guy called my office regarding this matter, as courtesy I talked to him but when he demanded money I stopped our conversation, politely I told him since your name is not on the contact I can't speak with you anymore.

Providing any wrong information to public regarding this matter [redacted] would be fully responsible in courts of law.

California laws does not require having AC in our vehicle but as courtesy to our clients we make sure AC and other equipments in the limousine are operating.

When weather gets over 80 degree Fahrenheit and body heat of each person create more heat in the limousine, that day temperature got to 106 degree there's no way we could cool down the limousine.

They supposed to have only 12 passengers ** the limousine but the driver as a courtesy let six more passengers ** the limousine, having more people in the limousine would've cost them more money but we didn't charge them more, if they had only 12 passengers ** the limousine they would've been more comfortable and the limo wouldn't get as hot.

I ask the driver if any kid cried in the limo because of heat he said no.

Every Friday personally I check the limousines to see if all equipment working properly, in fact this limousine's AC was working fine.

I give an example, at 106 degree keep 18 people in one of your room in your house and keep doors closed and put your AC in highest blast, in 15 minutes every one gets hot.

If every one got out of limousine and did not use our service, gladly I would've return entire money, but since they were happy with the limousine and our service and continue using our service there's no reason for us to return any money to them.

I understand cost of weddings is great but people can't use services and products and then at last ask the vendors for money.

I am not satisfied with the response that the business, Patterson Limousine, gave back. The facts that the owner is presenting as his counter argument are fallacious. Let me give an example, he is accusing us for lying, he states that we did not have a child crying in the car because of all the heat that was in the limousine, I was there with the child providing it with water and he is saying that is not true. But let me just emphasize that there is a glass between us and the driver so he would not even be able to hear the child crying. Another point that I would like to mention is that with a day that was around 106 degrees, this business should had been polite and tell me that the limousine that I was about to rent did not have AC and I would had gone with a different company that did provide such services. Let me just make something clear, we were not happy with the service and I will not recommend these services to anyone because the business is not being cooperative.
