Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Thank you for the information Will this email count as a rebuttal? I wish we didn’t have to, trust me Patterson promised on the day he got his big check that he would come back and fix the spot (we have pictures if needed) that was lower than the rest of the paved portion of the driveway, where water collects in spots that are opposite the majority of parking spots This is where the owner and managers park, and when it rains it is extremely inconvenient, we’re talking up to 8” puddles We are concerned now about the ice and one of our employees or the owner (yrs old) will slip and get hurt-which we really wish to avoid for obvious reasons The owner is my grandfather, and after he repeatedly tried calling Clark P [redacted] and getting the runaround, being promised “this weekend” every time, I took over the task because it was obvious that he was being taken advantage of due to his old age I got the same answer for weeks in a row from Patterson, to no avail He did call and leave a message on my cell phone, and after calls back I always get “He’s not here right now.” Will this be sufficient for a rebuttal or do you need me to do something on the Revdex.com website? Thanks for your helpRegards, [redacted] [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted] ***

Hello ***. I spoke with Clark P*** of Patterson Paving this morning. Due to the weather here in CT he will not be able to “fix” the job until the springtime, he said mid to late April most likely. He assured me that we were to be the first on his list of jobs. So, while the job is not done, he has acknowledged the issue and says he will fix I’m unsure as to what I need to do now, if you need to close this then I understand, or do we wait until he does the job? We just want to make sure it gets done, because as the complaint stated, he has promised multiple times before and even set dates, but never came back. I’d like to believe him, and he sounded sincere, but I’m sure you can understand my worry. Whatever you need me to do on my end, please just let me knowThank you for your help with this matterKind Regards, *** * *** *** * ***

In reference to case number the homeowners were having a problem with the water running at the right pitchI went back out reheated and graded the high area to insure the water was no longer pooling in the area and fixed the crack the accrued due to the water problem

Hello this is Clark P*** with patterson complaint number *** I tried to get a hold of the customer to make a resolution I wasn't successful and waiting for him to call back once he calls me back I'm going to explain to him that whatever it takes to make it right will happenAs soon as the

Your colleague, [redacted], requested that I contact you with new information about the above mentioned complaint. Earlier this morning, I got a call from Clark P[redacted] of Patterson Paving. He called to tell me that the "infrared" treatment (which had a few weeks ago been suggested) to repair the...

areas where water collects on my driveway would not work well enough and that I would not be happy with the result. Rather than take this less than satisfactory route, he committed to putting down another layer of asphalt (1 inch or more) over the entire driveway. He told me he would do this in "spring" when the weather is warmer. 50-60 degrees and on the rise. I agreed to this plan and asked him for assurance that he was committed to this plan and to making the situation "right." He was certain that he would get the job done. He told me that he wasn't "the kinda guy who would leave me with this situation like this." Anyhow, I will remind him of his commitment as spring approaches. In the meantime, I hope neither my wife nor I slip on the ice that will, undoubtedly, form on the driveway in the areas that will be fixed in the spring. Nevertheless, I take Mr. P[redacted] at his word, at this point.  Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: On 11-23-'15, P[redacted] Paving Co. installed a 2 inch overlay of asphalt on my existing driveway. I was told by Clark P[redacted], with whom I negotiated the transaction, that the driveway would be smooth with a pitch that would allow water to run off. We agreed on the price of $3900.00 in cash and he did the job that day.

In the following days, I noticed that rain was pooling at several locations on the driveway. This was not what I paid for.

I have spoken with Clark P[redacted] twice since noticing the water pooling on the driveway and he has promised to come to my house to address my concerns. He told me he would come to my house on Tuesday, December 1 at noon. He neither came nor called. I called him the next day and he stated that he would come to my house on Saturday, December 5 at 10a.m. Once again, a no show and no phone call since.

I had every expectation that he would come by and rectify the problem. I no longer believe that this will happen.Desired Settlement: Repair of the areas in which water is pooling and, if this can't be done, a refund.

Review: Patternson Paving completed paving a new driveway at residential addresss. Owner of paving company stated bottom fill was in very good shape and new driveway would be fine. Within first six months, driveway started to crack and sink. Spoke to owner of paving company and he would be out to correct. Owner of paving company never show up to inspect. He called and decided to refund our money for 100% of our payment for defective product. In numerous telephone calls, owner of paving company stated that he is overnight check.

Never sent check for refund or returns call.Desired Settlement: Complete refund of payment.

Review: I recently contracted Patterson Paving To create a new driveway at a duplex that I am remodeling.

The work was to cover both ripping up the old sidewalk, replacing it with driveway curbing, tearing out the soil and putting down millings.

The work was started on August 22nd and was finished on August 26th. The quality of work and the communication with Patterson was both disapointing and frustrating.

While tearing out the grass for the driveway, they pulled out the grounding wire for the house and managed to break the cover to the water line. The paving for the new sidewalk was never smoothed out or finished properly. There are tool marks in the pavement and the finish is such that I’m sure it will cause the pavement to degrade prematurely.

After several phone calls of promises to fix their work and two appointments made they have not shown up or even called to reschedule. At this time none of the issues have been resolved. (with the exception of the grounding wire which I fixed myself).Desired Settlement: That they repair the sidewalk properly and replace the water line cover. As I mentioned the grounding wire issue I have already addressed.
