I am going to write this out but I'm also going to drop ALL of the conversations with this woman to you. This couple was refereed to me by...

friends who has adopted 2 puppies from us at different times. He told me that I come highly recommended.
Husband contacted me on 8/13/14 wanting information on vizsla puppies. We had puppies but they were all spoken for before they were born. I told him that Amber had just mated 2 - 3 wks ago but it would be 5 - 6 wks before we expected them to be born. On 8/17 he writes- we are very interested & DO NOT mind waiting, would like to move forward with the deposit. Quick question though- my wife and I are really wanting a female! Do you foresee any issues with that? I know you can't predict these things. Of course I can't predict these things. If it's not enough girls we go to the next litter to be born "which is clearly stated on the website as well as the deposit form they signed" ... The soonest we expected a litter was 1st to 2nd week in Oct. I had stated several times in the first couple of weeks. When I know puppies are coming I'll email you and then after it's over with I'll email you with a head count. Later on again when she wrote. Same thing. I was having other puppies/weimaraners. I explained to [redacted] that I am very busy with the puppies that are born and customers coming out to visit their puppies. I will contact you when they are born.
October 4th wife wrote but I didn't have access to email, it was down. On Oct 8th the phones were back on and I have two emails from [redacted]- stating she has tried to get ahold of me and left voice mail. She states that she's in total shock, very upset & can't believe this is happening. Stating that they wanted a puppy very soon. Needless to Say Amber did not have puppies. She was swollen up and looking pregnant but moms can absorbs puppies for any reason or have a false pregnancy. Just like humans . [redacted] was not happy about any of this, neither was I but I told her nature is going to take it's course and we will have more puppies from other moms. I referred them back to the website to read what can happen, what the procedure is. Deposits are non-refundable. In the event there are not enough puppies in the first litter born, your deposit goes towards the next litter to be born. We do not guarantee any puppy be available until the litter is actually on the ground.
January 3, 2015 Rosie and Rusty had 4 puppies, 2 boys and 2 girls. Them being #2 on the female list means they have a puppy born. Jan 12th she emails saying we want to schedule a visit. Saying they have no choice in pick out but we still would like to come see them, mother & father dog as well. We can only come on the weekends. Can we come on Jan 31st to visit? Me: I wrote her back, that would be find to come visit them. You can come at noon. I can't tell you which girl it will be but you will be able to play with the entire litter. ** Of course you will see Rosie as she's with her litter in the nursery. We don't bring daddies in the nursery or any other dogs as far as that goes. The moms don't want other dogs around their puppies. But you will be able to see daddy at the kennel. (question ask and answered right there)!!!!
Jan 14th, she sends another email. We would like to bring our puppy home 2/14th and again we can only come on weekends. Sent pictures a few times and she requested right after they were born that I take pictures of mom with her babies. I told her I took 1 with mom and then I sent several with each puppy. I told her the mom needs rest now and I'm not going to take them away from her again for a while. Sent pictures on Jan 16th and on Jan 17th is when she wanted me to do more of mom and puppies.... Jan 17th she confirms pictures were received.
Because [redacted] keeps asking the same questions over and over >>>> I decided to go ahead and ease her mind. I drove 29 miles one way to Office depot to scan the OFA certificates to send to her. (60 miles) when she could have just took the numbers I gave her and look them up herself. I TRIED to make this woman happy. So I sent her Rosie's OFA certificate which states Rosie's hips are ofa EXCELLENT. Rusty Daddy is OFA good. Both dogs have their CERF meaning eyes are clear and normal. On that certificate also is the Parents AKC registration numbers. I sent those to [redacted] and said you can go the the website www.akc.org and put those registration numbers in the site. You can pull up several generations on both sides of the family tree. I gave her all the information she could possibly want. Many generations back she could have research. BUT NOPE that was no good enough for her. She wanted me to drive back to Office Depot and send her a scanned copies of my 3 generation pedigree. I told her she could look it up herself that I was busy with my own dog, the puppies and seeing customers who actually come out when they make appointments. I don't have time to run all over the country when she can find this information on her own. I didn't say that too her but I did think it. I was getting so tired of the same questions over and over with no way to make her see that I had given her everything. This was her next email to me.
[redacted], It's so obvious that we don't have a good relationship. It shouldn't be that way . As I said, I lost my trust in you and I can not change the way I feel about you. That was the main reason I asked for our deposit back in October, you denied it and it would have been better for all of us. We work hard for our money, so we had no choice but to stick with you, like it or not.
You have know idea how well educated I'm becoming on this subject. I will not take your word for anything. I will come with questions, I want to see and look over health records, pedigree on the parent dogs. I need to know what I'm getting for my money.
I would like to see the contract ahead of time and have time to read it over and make sure it protects me as well as it protects you.
I don't know if there is a nicer way I could have told you that we would like to see the parent dogs' papers when we come and visit. I wanted to give you the heads up and make sure it will be available. You keep dancing around it though and come up with excuses. You denying to send the pedigree on the parents just added to my frustration with you. I specifically asked you for it, so why didn't you take it to home depot and scan it in with the health records at the same time? Are the other people not asking for it? The dogs are older then you told me they were. Plus, you let the puppies go home way to early and it's not in their benefit.
I wish I did all the reading and research before I placed a deposit with you because then we wouldn't have this conversation at all. I simply wouldn't consider you.
[redacted]I have to get that dog from you because we already paid a lot of money for it. I have no choice! As far as a relationship goes there will be none!! I'm saying it again, I can not change the way I feel about you, you put me through a lot of frustration.
#1) The OFA I scanned and sent to her had everything on it. Health and AKC numbers. She could not have gotten healthier parents.
#2) This frustration she has was because the 1st girl didn't have puppies and the 2nd girl had boys and only 1 female. They were in no rush to start with and was willing to wait for puppies to be born.
#3) This woman has ask for the same thing over & over. I sent her names and phone numbers of customers who have adopted puppies from these parents before. She did NOT call 1 person. It was no way to satisfy her with nothing I said or nothing I sent her.
#4) I nor anybody else shouldn't put up with the way [redacted] acted or talked to me. Not 1 of the appointments she showed up for. She had several chances to come out and meet us. Meet the parents and see the entire litter of puppies.
#5) She says I let the puppies go home too soon. BUT [redacted] was the one who picked out the pick up date. I said not before Feb 14 - Feb 21st.
When I finally give up and decided it was no way to satisfy her I have several attorney's that have adopted our puppies, and my emails was going right to them. I was advised to not give her the deposit back. They think this is harassment. That the deposit is for work I do, emails, phone calls, pictures, meetings and so on. I was told to keep 1/2 but then I said I'll give her $400.00 back. I went out of my way to report to [redacted] but nothing was good enough. I have every email that the PA has put together from their end.
I am sorry if this sounds terrible. I know it's not professional but I've had enough. I know for a fact that she read the message on this board. She knew if she said : As far as a relationship goes there will be none. She wants nothing to do with me. Fine but my agreement is $400. period. In 13 years and one amazing reference list, I know you can't please everyone. I've had 2 unhappy customers w
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2015/09/09) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I'm asking Mrs. [redacted] to refund our full deposit of $500 as she said in writing that she would do. She made the decision to deny the dog, she put it in writing and was advised how to handle the refund by her attorney. The deposit was for a female Vizsla puppy, $500, she sells them for $1200, the remaining $700 needed to be paid at pick up in cash. So, the deposit is for the dog, NOT for emails, phone calls and the other ridiculous things she mentions. As a small business owner she needs to do as she promised.
One last time I'm quoting from one of her emails, which said her attorney advised her to send me the check once the next litter of puppies go home!
"March 5, 2015 3:30 pm Response and forward
[redacted] I did not get an email from you last week. All of the emails you send to my address is automatically being redirected to our attorney's office. So he forwarded this one to me today.
Per his advice and as I told you before when I have a litter of puppies going home then I would send your deposit back. Now I don't know a date until puppies are born."
I wasted one whole year of puppy ownership due to dealing with her. My money is tied up as well, when my family and I could have instead bought a puppy from another breeder.
Thank you to Mrs. [redacted] for pointing out for everyone to see that the other Revdex.com complaints are for the same thing, she tells people there is a litter coming so they pay a deposit, then there is no litter born. That way, people have no choice but to stick with her since the deposit is "non-refundable". Running her business this way is not very ethical at all! Since she previously had an issue with a litter not being born as she promised, she should have mentioned the possibility of it to me so I can make a conscious decision knowing that important piece of information, but she choose not to.
As I'm finding out just now from her Revdex.com response marked with #2 that the first dog did not have a litter, second dog had a litter with all boys and 1 girl! She kept that information from me. I did not know that she had a litter born before the January litter. Once again her honesty is lacking, plus if I was second in line for a female, the person in front of me should have received the 1 female puppy, so why did I stay second throughout the whole time while waiting for the next litter? It is very wrong of her, who knows what else she kept from me!
The fact of the matter is, Mrs. [redacted] denied a puppy from me, after I waited for a long time for that next litter. She put it in writing that her attorney advised her and she will refund my deposit when the next litter of puppies go home. If she was planning on keeping any part of my deposit, she should have mentioned it at the time so I can make a conscious decision on fighting over the dog that I have been waiting for so long or take the loss and let the dog go. Again, she is keeping an important piece of information from me that will cause an issue later!
It's not hard to see the pattern of what she is doing, she says things and then not keeping her promise or follow through with actions. This is bad business ethics and no way to run a business. Want to also mention that nowadays everybody has a printer/copier/scanner or fax machine, especially people who run businesses! Her claim of having to drive so far is absurd and ridiculous! I asked for all papers at once, it's her fault that she decided to only send me OFA papers, unless she doesn't have the pedigree that she claims to keep in her nursery. These are papers that any ethical and honest breeder wouldn't not hesitate to show a CUSTOMER.
Mrs. [redacted] denied a puppy BEFORE our scheduled visit at 4 weeks! In response to hers marked #4) she said I don't need to come and visit at 4 weeks, and I insisted that we want to even though we wouldn't be able to pick a specific puppy. That's when I notified her that I would like to see the paper, when we came for our visit, I didn't want to find out after a 4 hour drive that she needed to know my request ahead of time. What visit didn't I make? After denying the dog there was nothing to visit or to pick up! She lives in a gated home!
In response to hers, marked as #5), her website stated that puppies need to go home at 6 weeks, if not she charges $10/day to keep them. That is how I picked the date to bring home the puppy, I didn't want to pay extra. I criticized her on it, because I asked advice on this matter on a social media site especially for this breed (which she is a member of) and people responded with very harsh criticism towards the breeder (I did not mention names), some people said it's even illegal to do it in some states. If her website states it differently now, we are able to pull up what her website stated at any given day in the past.
Mrs. [redacted] herself admits to be unprofessional the way she has and is dealing with our situation and I agree with her on that! She needs to keep her word and send us back our full deposit! She made me wait 8 months for it as of right now!
Final Business Response /* (4000, 17, 2015/10/09) */
[redacted]Document Attached[redacted]
I'm sorry but the response from [redacted] didn't show up until I posted again. So I would like to respond as she did.
I denied the dog due to her harassment and badgering after I keep sending her information each time she ask for something new. I got upset with her and the emails that I have forwarded to Revdex.com. She didn't waste a year on me because I had her a puppy at the time. She waited from August to Jan 1st until Jan 1st the litter was born. That is 4 months and 10 days. As you can see by the deposit form.
One complaint to the Revdex.com not Complaints are for the same thing. I can not control if they get pregnant or not. Just as we as humans don't control that. I may see them mate and then they may be mating at 2 am which I'm not going to see. We have to count down from time they are in heat and see in 5 or 6 weeks if they start getting bigger. I have never lied to anybody about mating and actually take pictures of them when I see it. That way I can give close due date. Since dogs are in heat for 3 weeks, you never know exact dates. No one is going to promise you what nature controls. I never promised you anything and you know that. I have emails stating that exact fact
Aug 16, Email between [redacted] and myself. Not [redacted]
We have some puppies right now but I actually had deposits on all of them before they were born, and now have 2 deposits on the next litter coming. Amber has mated 3 weeks ago, so we have 5 - 6 weeks longer before we expect that litter to be born. We would love to help you get a puppy if you are WILLING TO WAIT FOR THEM TO BE BORN!!!!! Our main website is below for more information and if we can help your family or you would like to visit next week to meet [redacted] and I we welcome a visit. (People do read the website) RIGHT
As for the first dog didn't have puppies and the second one had all boys and 1 girl. You need to recall I had a waiting list for the puppies. It seems that only one of us knows what is going on. I have not keep nothing from [redacted] but in all honestly you do need to explain every little detail of life to her over and over again. If she doesn't understand me the first time I send her information nor the second time. I just give up.
Also Nowadays she states that everybody has a printer/copier/scanner or fax machine, especially people who run a business!! I am not obligated to purchase a scanner/fax machine when I never scan or fax. As far as I know it's not a requirement. So I did drive to office depot to scan/email you the dogs registration numbers and OFA certifications. It may be absurd to you. But really to state it's my fault I only sent you the OFA papers. I'm attaching the ofa certificate. As anybody can see all the information is there. That is your responsibly to look up more if you want too. You had all the numbers you needed to find out anything. I also am not obligated to purchase pedigrees on dogs. I have them but it is not something that is required for us to have.
#5 stating that website stated that puppies need to go home at 6 weeks. If not a $10.00 per day to keep them. That is not the way it is. If you have not made plans or contacted me to set up and pick up date then I do not hold your puppy for 3 or 4 weeks later. It actually says on your deposit form::: Puppies must be picked up on the dates we have set for them to go home. If not it will be a $10.00 per day boarding fee. If you don't contact me within 5 days your puppy will be resold. Your deposit will be forfeited at that time. " Now I can let you talk to customers who have not picked up at 6 weeks, going on vacation, or me thinking I needed to keep them a week or so longer, they were not charged a fee. That is because we communicated and had our dates in order. It means I'm not holding a puppy in your name for 3 weeks without any contact from you and then you expect to pick up that puppy. Again you do not understand what it means and are assuming something that is not true. I gave you dates stating not before Feb 14th - Feb 21st for pick up.
I have attached some forms that you will see has OFA number as being Excellent on hips, her AKC registration number is on that form as well. Thats what you put in the AKC website to research. She had the information but she didn't use it. Not my fault at all!!!
Lets also mention the social media facebook to be exact. I have over 200 friends/customers on that site in which any of those people would have been happy to tell them about our puppies. Yet [redacted] decide to ask other breeders, (who of course want to sell their puppies). Rescue groups who hate breeders even though they do not get my dogs. All of our puppies are micro chipped, so if they got to rescue or pound we should be notified to come pick them up. We also have a contract stating if you have to give your puppy up then we will take the dogs back at any age, no questions ask. So again [redacted] has taken advice from someone who does not actually know us, never meet us nor had one of our dogs. Based on that information she decided to take it upon herself to start questioning me like I was a criminal. The bad part is that she would have had a smart, beautiful puppy that in 2 days will be 9 months old. I've attached the deposit form to prove what it actually states. No guessing or making up things that are not in writing. It's all there plan and simple. Also she could have talked to those customers on the list. She could have talked to the people of face book and even meet up with customers who live in her own home town. None of that was done. It's my job to produce a healthy happy puppy and I did that. It's her fault that she didn't do her homework with the right group of people. But then again she was mad because the first girl did not have any puppies. I can not control the entire world. But I do try to make as many as I can happy. This subject is one that is not going to be satisfied in any way. But my attorneys are still with me and willing to back me all the way. Along with several customers to back me up, I am a good breeder and proud of my work, puppies and customers.
Revdex.com says to meet in the middle of a half way ground to settle this dispute. This complaining person is not willing to meet in the middle and I have done way more than I should have according to the advisor.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 19, 2015/10/16) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Mrs. [redacted] stated again that SHE denied the puppy from me, which my family and I waited over 4 months for. This was HER decision, which she made after I requested documentation that any reputable breeder would be happy to provide. She also stated that she will refund my deposit of $500, with no mention of keeping $100 for "communicating" with me - this is in writing from her.
She made me wait for the next litter to be born in order to get my money back, she said that her attorney advised her on this decision as well. I waited patiently for another 4+ months for that litter to be born. It was at this point that she gave me the run around about the refund and then decided that she will keep $100 of it.
Again, I did not breach our agreement, she made this decision and the decision to refund my deposit.
Mrs. [redacted] needs to understand that she did not let me have the dog, my deposit belongs to me in full. That deposit was for a puppy, a down payment on a female Vizsla. She sold that dog, the one she denied me, she has no right to keep any part of my deposit for it. It is wrong of her to make me wait 4+ months for the next litter to be born in order to get my deposit back, and when it's finally time to fulfill that promise she changes things and tries to justify keeping part of it and expects me to be be OK with it. That just shows bad business ethics.
Like she said, I should have had an almost 9 month old dog from her but I don't because she denied it! That shows how long I have been dealing with her.
I'm requesting my full deposit of $500, which was my down payment for a female Vizsla puppy that I never got from her. I will go after the full amount, whether she likes it or not.
