your notice dated June 17, 2017 I began my investigation. I contacted the Property Manager in order to understand where this disconnect may have occurred.  The Property Manager, spoke with the Assistant Manager who oversees the Exterminating Contractor.   We were able to determine that one of our maintenance staff members contacted the pest control contractor and changed the date of service. This particular member of our staff is assigned to accompany the pest control technicians during the routine treatment of apartments.  He is assigned a pass key which allows the team entry, to service the apartment, or when a resident is not home.  This was done because he knew he would be unavailable on the scheduled date of service.   The Property Manager verbally reprimanded the team member and explained how making a change in schedule, no matter how subtle, can result in many unforeseen a chain of events. The incident was documented and placed in his permanent employee file. The Property Manager then sent a written notice to the vendor stating, any and all changes in the schedule must come directly from the Assistant Manager or the Property Manager.   The Property Manager voided all charges and contacted Mr. [redacted] to inform him. She also apologized for the inconvenience. The Property Manager discussed the importance of contacting her office first and allowing [redacted] management staff to correct any deficiencies, prior to seeking redress from an outside agency.  They agreed that would be the best course of action in the event of any future concerns.      Our goal is to provide superior customer service and the best quality living experience possible.  When that fails to occur, we will continue to make every effort to correct any issues that arise with a sense of urgency.     Sincerely,   Sydenia A.
