Review: I was to become a new patient @ this dental practice. I called in May to set an appt., and was given my request of Tues., 7/2 @ 4:00.When I arrived the office personnel claimed that my name was not in their records, and that they would not be seeing me as I had scheduled.Does a business have the right to not honor your appt., if it was previously accepted? Does this practice have an office manager that ensures each consumer is treated fairly?Desired Settlement: I would like a statement from this doctor, with his interpretation of the office staff refusing to see me.

I am truly sorry for complainant #[redacted] feeling of being snubbed by my office. Although it is not possible he made this appointment with us, it must have been made else where. First of all, when scheduling a patient, new or current, their information would be entered into our computer immediately, it would not even be possible to make an appointment without doing so. Secondly, I (the doctor) was on vacation the week of the complaint which was blocked out as such for months not allowing an appointment to be made. It is our office policy that we do not see new patients when I am not in the office. In conclusion, it wasn't that we were refusing to see this patient, it was that the patient did not have an appointment in this office. We would be more than happy to make an appointment for this patient in the future.
