Paul Miller BMW Reviews (43)

Review: I have owned my BMW 750i for less than 2 years and have experienced major repairs to the drivetrain system within that time. The repairs have become more frequent in the last six months. I returned to the dealership to try and resolve this issue and was shown inferior vehicles to what I currently own and was told my car has depreciated so much that I have negative equity. The issue seem to intensify after doing a Customer Care Campaign which basically was focused at the drivetrain system. I have no had to change pumps, the transmission and now have a weird odor coming from the vents and exhaust. I was told it could be a new part but this has been over a two week period. I am just fed up with this car.Desired Settlement: I would just like a car that is comfortable to me and isn't inferior to what I currently own. I am willing to even pay more in monthly payments.

Response:

The mechanical concerns have been covered by a warranty and campaigns by BMWNA. The defects and time down would have to addressed with BMWNA direct. We have discussed trade options with the client and clearly there would be a negative equity situation that they do not want to pursue. We can explore trade options with the client, but the only way to associate the repairs or defects with the negative equity is to pursue the lemon law and that would be between the client and BMWNA not Paul Miller BMW

Review: My problem with Paul Miller involves a bait and switch. I received a cash offer to sell my car to Paul Miller BMW for $4,392.00 after entering the vehicles condition into [redacted] Paul Miller then sent me a multitude of emails and calls asking me to bring the car in, so they could purchase it for this price. As the vehicle is not insured, I had to tow it to Paul Miller BMW. I was then offered the price of $508.00 to purchase the vehicle. As that price is obviously ridiculous for a fully functional 2009 vehicle, and 89% less than their targeted, advertised offer, I had to decline and tow the vehicle back to where it is stored.Desired Settlement: I would like Paul Miller BMW to refund me the towing costs that resulted from their bait and switch which was a total of $115.00.

Response:

The client used a service powered by [redacted]com wherein they describe their vehicle on line and receive an offer based on the description they provide. We are a location participating with [redacted] and [redacted]. Upon inspection the vehicle was not represented properly by the customer, and as such the offer amount was adjusted to reflect the actual condition of the car. Both offers were created by [redacted] and [redacted] and not Paul Miller BMW. The customer is not due any compensation from Paul Miller BMW.

I am rejecting this response because: The vehicle was absolutely properly described on [redacted], and I received a cash offer from Paul Miller BMW. I received eight emails from Susan K[redacted] , a Paul Miller BMW employee, repeatedly asking me to bring my car in, so that they could purchase it for the price provided by [redacted] Then what I was offered was 92% less than the original offered price. We are not talking about a difference of a few dollars — after asking me eight times to bring my car in to purchase it, they then lowered their offer by 92% and said they would give me $500 for a 2009 [redacted] that is in good condition, with no mechanical issue and 102,000 miles. That is a bait and switch.

Regards,

Review: My problem with Paul Miller BMW is that I purchased my vehicle on June 18 2010 and had a 4 year 40 thousand mile warranty. The warranty according to my knowledge should be over in June 18 2014 as per agreement. I took the vehicle to the dealer for some repair work and malfunctions on February and was informed by the representative that my warranty was over and I would be charged for any repair work that is done to it, so I left decided to leave my vehicle there just so they can tell me exactly what is wrong with not repair anything. When I returned to the dealer to pick it up I was informed that I would have to pay $100 to get my car because it got checked up there another piece of information which they neglected to inform me with. When I confronted them with all these problems their response was that the vehicle was in the showroom from February of 2010 which is when the warranty started, which is something that nobody told us.Desired Settlement: I do not want any money back I want the dealer to honor the agreement, they had with which is the fact that I purchased the car on June 18 2010 and the warranty should expire June 18 2014 which are my years.
