Mitchell the School Honolulu is in receipt of Complaint #[redacted] filed with the Revdex.com by Ms. [redacted]. Paul Mitchell the School Honolulu is a private postsecondary institution, and therefore must abide by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) (20 U.S.C. § 1232g; 34 CFR Part 99), which is a Federal law that protects the privacy of students’ educational records. The law applies to all schools that receive funds under an applicable program of the U.S. Department of Education. In order to release any information from a student's education record a school must have written permission from the parent or eligible student. We have contacted Ms. [redacted] to sign an authorized release of information form in order to provide information to the Revdex.com, at this time; Ms. [redacted] has failed to respond to the school’s request. Once Ms. [redacted] responds to our request and agrees to sign the release, we can provide the Bureau with all pertinent information related to the complaint. Sincerely, [redacted] Director
