Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Good Evening,     Thank you for letting me send the information here. I have attached the pictures to this email.  [redacted] & ** [redacted]  referred me to Paul, as a professional [redacted] extensions  salon  the service I have been looking for. Paul nor salon was recognized  on [redacted] web page as which I brought to  Paul s attention. I trusted instincts and tried out Paul for the first time. The consultation is where we agreed on everything from the cost to the home maintenance (which I was already familiar with that information) since I already had extensions in the past. After my first encounter with Paul he gave me a $200 discount because I paid cash for the services also brought to Paul s attention he was not recognized as a certified extension stylist.Paul mentions his years in the hair business which sadness me to read Paul's salon went belly up and closed and is currentlyworking at [redacted] with open appointments which I should of been more cautious with trusting him with over $8000.00 worth of extensions.I should have stuck to the referred  salons posted by great lengths on their web site.My prior experiences with a certified ** extensions stylist ; [redacted] was still in original package/** PACKAGE VISIBLE SMOCK LABELED  ** LOGO ** FULL& PURSE SIZE BRUSH, FULL SIZE BOTTLE OF SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER & SEALED TAPPING SOLUTION WITH SPRAY BOTTLE4 TO 8 HOURS OF TIMEPAUL SALON LOFT;MINI/PURSE SIZE BRUSHSPRAY BOTTLE UNSEALED WITH SUPPOSEDLY  TAPPING SOLUTIONEXTENSION UNDER TOWEL NOT SEEN1:30 TO 2:00 HOURS2ND APPT WITH PAUL  GLUED/BONDED MY EXTENSION THAT FELL/ BROKE/SLID FROM MY HAIRPAUL MENTIONED HE WAS IMPRESSED THE WAY I PLACED EXTENSION IN A PAPER TOWEL ROLLWHICH MADE IT EASIER FOR HIM TO PLACE THEM BACK IN MY HAIR** EXTENSIONSPOLICY IS NOT TO REUSE HAIR TO BY NEW ONESPAUL WAS VERY COMFORTABLE GLUING THEM BACK (PAID CASH FOR SERVICE) LAST APPT MY SON WAS WITH ME IN THE 5X5 ROOM PAUL TOOK ALL THE EXTENSIONS  I BROUGHT ON THAT  & PLACED THEM TO THE SIDE  PROCEEDED TO WATER  & TRIMMED MY HAIR      PAUL TOLD ME TO LEAVE THE BAG OF EXTENSION HE WAS GOING TO LOOK AT THEM AND CALL ME (PAIN IN CASH)NO SERVICE WAS FREESALON LOFT HAS CAMERAS I EMAILED,TEXT &CALLED ABOUT MY EXTENSIONS NEVER RECEIVED A HONEST ANSWERPAUL  DISHONESTY IS QUIET EXHAUSTING YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER A LOT[redacted]    QUALITY CONTROL/TECHNICAL SUPPORT/** HAVE A PHONE NUMBER?????ALL I WANT ARE MY EXTENSIONS THAT I PAID FORTHANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND CONSIDERATION

26 [redacted] 2017 RE: IN, [redacted] Thank you for getting back to me the other day regarding this issue. I will attempt to go through my encounters with [redacted] All the best I can in this letter and address the issues she has brought up. My first meeting with [redacted] was on Tuesday,...

January 17, 2017. She was referred to me by another salon. In my consultation, [redacted] had told me that she was interested in getting [redacted] extensions, She very much desired [redacted] extensions specifically, because she had had many different kinds of extensions in the past, and had the best experience with [redacted]. We agreed on length, color, maintenance requirements as well as cost of the extensions, all of which was specifically outlined and agreed to by [redacted]. (Enclosed are copies of both the deposit agreement as well as the Home Maintenance agreement that [redacted] signed.) I gave her the hard copies, an kept a digital copy for myself. An appointment for the extensions to be applied, as well as a non-refundable deposit of $500 was given. The total cost of the service was to be $1600, but as this was her first appointment with me, I discounted the price by $200. The total cost to [redacted] was $1400. She gave me $500 to book the appointment and the balance of $900 was due the day of the appointment. [redacted]'s appointment was the following Tuesday, January 24 at 10am, to which she was an hour late. We then again reviewed what we were going to do as far as the final look. 1 applied the extensions, shaped her natural hair to blend in, and finished the service. [redacted] paid me the remaining $900. We went over the Home Maintenance sheet again, which [redacted] signed, and kept the hard copy as I kept a digital one for myself. [redacted] was very happy when she left. I advised her to call me with any questions, and once again, she was very satisfied. The next time I saw [redacted] was on 22 February, 2017. She had called a few days prior and said a couple of extensions had come out. I asked what happened and she stated that when she was drying her hair they just slid out. I was a little confused, never having that happen before, but I asked her to come in and bring the extensions with her. When she came in, I could see where some extensions were missing. [redacted] gave me the pieces that she said slid out. I looked at them, and a few of them were not the extensions 1 had put in her hair. I'm not sure where they had come from, but the bonds on the ends were not [redacted] bonds. Seeing as [redacted] was a new client, and l wanted to keep her happy, I simply didn't say anything, I added new extensions (at my expense) to the areas where the old ones had come out and, once again, [redacted] left happy. I say at my expense, because once the bonds of the [redacted] extensions are attached, they are unable to be reused. There would be no way to reattach the extensions a second time had to use hair from my own stock to rectify this situation. Seeing as these extensions cannot be reused, I disposed of them. My final encounter with [redacted] was on 4 March 2017. She had called again a few days prior to that and told me that nearly all of the extensions had slid out out her hair.  Those were her words "slid out of my hair'. Again, I was very confused and had her come in on that Saturday. When [redacted] armed, her hair was up in a clip. Once she took her hair down, there were probably 15 random extensions still attached to her hair. You can imagine my surprise. I had put over 200 extensions in her hair and only a fraction of them were left. I told her I obviously did not have time to reattach extensions, so I offered to either remove the few that were left, or simply cut them to match the rest of her hair. She asked me to cut them, which I did. I then shampooed, blew out, and styled [redacted]'s hair at no charge, as I felt bad about what had happened. She had brought me a bag of the extensions which I told her I would call [redacted] to see what the issue was. Perhaps it was bad hair, [redacted]be the bonds weren't sealed correctly, and I had no idea, [redacted] was fine with that.I contacted [redacted] and told them what had happened. I also told them about how most of the extensions didn't even look like [redacted] hair. I was told to forward them to Quality Control and they would look at them and see what was going on. I texted back and forth with [redacted] about what was going on, to keep her informed. She asked for her extensions back. Out of curiosity, I asked what she wanted them back for. Her response was $3000. I told her I didn't know what that meant, but I would ask for them to be returned. On 31 March 2017, 1 received a phone call from [redacted] at [redacted], She told me that the extensions had been cut out of the hair. The application was fine, there was no defect in the hair, and the majority of the hair was NOT [redacted] hair. I asked her to email me the findings so 1 could forward the information on to [redacted]. That email is attached as well as the email I composed to [redacted], essentially firing her as a client, 1 have been in this industry for 30 years, performing extension services for over 10 years, and I am sorry, but I'm not willing to service a client who will lie to me or not follow instructions on how to care for their investment. [redacted] claims to have contacted [redacted] herself, claimed that I lied and made up this email and the person it was from. I have since blocked her number from my phone as well as my online booking account. in her complaint to you, she stated she brought me $5000 worth of hair to put in her hair. First of all, I would never, absolutely NEVER put extensions in somebody's hair that they brought to me. I work with [redacted] exclusively, so I don't know where this information is coming from. The purchase price of her service was $1400. No more, no less. You can see that in her signed agreement. I am waiting for [redacted] to send back the extensions she brought back to me. I will gladly give them back, as there is nothing I or anybody else can do with them, I also received an email from [redacted]'s daughter stating that I have $5000 worth of her extensions that they want returned. Again, no idea where these figures are coming from. They have threatened to call the police on me for theft. I have all the documents that she signed and agreed to, as well as the letter from [redacted] stating she cut these extensions out of her hair and my service was done as it should have been.Hopefully, the enclosed documents will help you understand where we are. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me. Thank you for your Time Paul O[redacted]
