Purchased a damaged instrumentWas denied an exchange I purchased a Paul Reed Smith Custom Floyd model guitar on 2/9/from a Sam Ash music store in Orlando Florida for approximately $After a few weeks of ownership and getting to know the instrument I discovered a small roughed up edge on the finish of the guitar and after looking closer noticed the finish was coming apartI brought the guitar back to Sam Ash music to show them and they suggested I deal directly with the factory for this issueI contacted PRS Customer Service by phone 3/8/and was told to email a rep named Matt ***I did so the next day and included close up photo's of the damaged areaHe replied promptly explaining I would need to send it back to the factory for reviewThis took me a couple of days as I do not have the materials available for such a taskUpon getting the box and packing material I sent it off with the Fed Ex label that PRS provided on 3/17/Using the tracking label I saw that
