Review: was driving car to south carolina the car made a klucking noise something fell from front in of car in middle of road call paul wallace because the towing company said they would have to come get the car from them because I did,nt have title the towing company said it was maybe motor mount or drive shaft paul wallace just fixed motor mounts two months ago {supposedly fix} purchase this car end of Feburary 2013 still making payments every week of mouth of 60 dollars a week ,the towing company said if not pick car up in ten days they were goig to file abandment charges ,I need my car because of work and for two small children, please help me get this matterDesired Settlement: please help get car home get fixed right or replace car

[redacted] purchased a car from Paul Wallace, Inc., on February 18,2013. The car was sold with a warranty, after the warranty expired both in time and exceeded the mileage, the customer had two complaints. The dealership agreed to fix both problems as a goodwill courtesy without hesitation. We spent $175.00 in parts and $ 265.00 in labor. We did not ask the purchasers for any deductible, partial payment, and they did not incur and expense of the repair.

On 8/19/2013, over six months since the vehicle was purchased, we received a call from [redacted] the Co-Buyer asking the Dealership to go pick up her vehicle in another State. [redacted] was told respectfully there is nothing we can do, the car is yours and your responsibility. Of course we have no idea what kind of problem [redacted] had or has with her vehicle, her maintenance records or the amount of miles she has driven the vehicle in the past six months, or if she ran over something during or prior to her out of state travel.

Paul Wallace, Inc., did not build the automobile, it is not new, and the sales price of the vehicle was fair, we also included a solid warranty. We did not select the vehicle for the customer. It was solely their choice to purchase the make and model. In defense of the manufacturer of this vehicle, parts do not last forever on any make or model, new or used.

We are sorry the customers are experiencing a problem. Without doubt, we have gone above and beyond our industry and competitors in trying to please [redacted]. With that being said, the requests are unreasonable and their is nothing more we can do. We are and extremely reputable Dealership. Our success is attributed to over 20 years of repeated business from customers who bring their friends and family year after year to purchase vehicle's from us. That success has made us the number one leader in our area. We would like to keep [redacted]'s business, but her expectations of our service must be reasonable.
