I am responding to the above referenced complaint # [redacted] We were extremely busy during the past winter and spring of and fell behind in our accountingWe have been working at catching up with all our accounts and we are trying to confirm that all payments have been made and posted correctlyIt is a common practice in this industry to release cars and wait for supplemental payments to be made at a later dateWhen we came across the complainant's paperwork, it appeared that he owed a balance for the deductible and we sent him an invoice for the amount on November 6, On the appraisal, it showed an adjustment for the 500.00, but it was waived by the time the insurance company issued a checkIt was an oversight on our part and we apologized to the complainant when he called on November 18th and pointed it outhe was extremely upset at the fact that he went to great lengths to research his billWe sent him a letter that same day, stating that his bill was paid in full as he requestedHe called November 19, and wanted to know why we did not call him back? We told him we did not want to upset him further and we told him that we mailed him a written receipt on the same dayWe also e mailed the letter immediately on the 19thWe have the attached the letterOur accounting practices are certainly not meant to be intimidating! We are just trying to get our financial records currentAs I said earlier, it was a crazy season and hopefully we will not have that much snow ever again! I am sorry that the complainant took offense to our invoiceWe have been a Revdex.com member since with an A+ ratingwe continually strive to ensure our customer's satisfaction with every aspect of their automobile repair experience
