To whom this may concern, [redacted] did contact me regarding repairs for a used SXS refrigerator that she acquired from an abandoned propertyAfter checking the unit I determined that it had a complex sealed system failure that would cost in the range of $to $ as the customer statedin addition it was not possible for me to determine what other issues this unit may have since the customer did not know its operational or repair historyMy main concerns were that this model is riddled with design flawsIt is subject to manufacturer recalls, repeated control board failures, etcI was hesitant to commit myself to what I suspected would turn into a continuous series of complaints ending in refunds and losses for both parties involvedI tried to convey this to the customer...I was not trying to scam her as she has statedI was offering sound advice based on my experience, and she could have contacted me regarding her concerns prior to writing you Since my visits do cost me travel time, I do hope customers will compensate me in most casesIt was her option to dispute the charge at that at time, however, she made payment without hesitation In light of her dissatisfaction, I will issue a refund for the disputed amount of $I hope this will close this matter Regards, Paul Z [redacted] Jr, Paul's Refrigeration Co
