An estimate was given on 6/27/20 by *** for removing limbs over my house and removing debris for 1,800.00. I asked him could he start that day because there had been severe storms in my area and I was concerned of falling limbs damaging my home. He was unable due to him being booked and the earliest would be 7/7/20. An severe storm came through my area and limbs had fallen on my house the following weekend. So I asked my son could he come over to cut and remove the limbs and he did. I texted *** on 7/6/20 regarding the refund of the 500.00 deposit that was given but do to an emergency came up and I had to get the work taken care of. I apologized for any inconvenience and offered that he could kept 75.00 of the deposit. He texted back asking if there was anything he could do for the same almost and I stated no not at this time. He informed that he would get back with me later that week regarding the deposit. And after several other texts it went from returning the deposit to me breaching the contract/invoice. I informed *** that there wasn't anything on the contract stating non refundable deposit and I had given him 24 hour cancellation. I informed him my scheduled being a nurse didn't have time to continue back and forth text and no agreement could be met between us. In my last text asked did he needed to make a payment plan or other arrangements to return my deposit no response. I never sued anyone or business but *** isn't giving me no other options. I understand the importance of a customer service because I'm an business owner also. I don't want anyone else to be put in this position of him not being compliance with his contract. When searching ***'s business there was a listing in Baton Rouge, Central and Amite, LA and all with the name cell number. Please let others know this man isn't what he claims to be honest.
