Pavilions On Central Apartments Reviews (%countItem)

I tendered a cashiers check for $1750 to resolve late rent. They took the check and I went back to work. No one called me to pick it up or returned it to me (I live 300 feet away). At an eviction hearing I learned they mailed the check so the hearing was reset so I could get the check and cure the alleged and disputed contractual breach. No check arrived and in open court Zachary *** claimed they did not have my money. I got the tracking number and went to the post office where I found out he mailed it to an undeliverable address so it was being returned to sender (Pavilions). It should have arrived there almost two weeks ago and yet they’ve denied having it and then gone radio silent. That’s $1750! What if I absconded with your $1750 and left you waiting the 90 days required to go a bank dispute? I’m trying to move...property management is the worst I’ve ever seen but I can’t even do that because A) they stole my money (I even had to call the police) and B) theses people lie so I expect they’re trashing me to potential new landlords because they’re being vindictive. This is insane.

Thank you for following up regarding your August rent payment. One of our team members noticed a Cashier Check payment placed on their office desk while they were on the business phone. After researching if we could accept the payment it was identified we legally could not accept the payment. We were advised to return the payment to you. We returned the payment in form of Certified Mailing with our local USPS office. When you indicated that you had not received the payment back we provided you copies of our certified mail receipt and tracking information. We have since opened a USPS case to research the status of the certified mailing for the return Cashier Check. We have provided the USPS case number to you and suggested that you reach out to your bank to place a stop payment on the Cashier Check.

This business has been told three times that the bank will not act for 90 days. They have left me no option other than to sue.

Business was made aware of a drunk driver who swiped my vehicle in the parking lot. Phoenix police responded and the police assistant noted the woman was intoxicated. As I spoke to the police assistant another resident approached to discuss seeing the same resident running over curbs and falling down drunk in the parking lot earlier in the week as well this girl was so mad about me calling the police that she reported my vehicle as illegally parked in front of my own garage while I unloaded items (still in the process of moving). I happen to also be in the middle of being medically discharged for a spinal injury. Rather than call me to check what was going on, this business chose to put a sticker on my window that I cannot get off without a special chemical. Now the drunk girl just walked past smirking. Pavilions is choosing to cause damage to my vehicle and assist in a psycho drunk’s vendetta against a military veteran. It’s disgusting and they’re getting a bill for the cleaning solution as well as the time and pain it takes to go buy it and clean my window. If they don’t pay it I will sue in justice court just to impart a lasting lesson.

Hi Chelsea, Thank you for expressing your concerns. I am happy to hear your thoughts and concerns. Our records show the vehicle incident occurred on 6/13/2018. When both parties informed us of the situation we asked all parties to call the police and provide us with the police report. We did not receive a copy of the police report from either party and did not hear anything else regarding the situation or any further concerns. Management does place parking violation stickers on vehicles if they are parked in front of garages and fire lanes. This is a parking management procedure that we adhere to for all residents. We are willing to offer you a $100 rental concession for July rent due to your concerns.
