In regards to the complaint filed against my businessI would like to respond to the claims
Ms*** *** came to a Basic training class at my facility with her dogUpon signing up for the initial class, Ms*** was informed that any deposit paid towards a class is not refundable or
transferable for any reasonDuring her time spent in the class with her dog, it was noted by my kennel manager and trainer that her pet was experiencing difficulty walking (limping and struggling to walk) during week of the classShe was advised that she may want to seek veterinary care for her dogShe returned for week of classHer pet sat down and refused to move due to the pain and discomfort that it was experiencingShe was told that unless the pet was released by a veterinarian she would not be allowed to return to classShe asked her own veterinarian to call us and release the dog to continue training classWe received a call from Dr*** of *** *** *** *** The Doctor stated during our phone call that she had brought her pet to their office for examination and had refused all pain/anti-inflamatory medications, x-rays and treatmentThe doctor stated that he would not release the dog to continue training classAt the beginning of week one of the Basic class she wanted to sign up her dog for the Advanced session of training classShe was advised during the time of deposit that a date had not yet been set for the Advanced class and she would be registered when the date was setShe paid $in cash because she said in her words, "she had the money now and wanted to be sure she had a spot in the class."(again being told no deposits will be refunded or transferred for any reason, just as she was advised for the initial Basic training class.) A date was set for the Advanced class during week of the Basic class while she was still attending the class with her dogWhen Dr*** would not release the dog to continue training classes, she wanted a refund of the $deposit she paid for the Advanced classShe again was told that no refunds will be given for any reason because it holds her spot in the classShe persisted calling my kennel manager using profanities towards her, myself and my business and threating legal action against me unless I refunded her depositI was tired of being harassed by her and sent her a check in the amount of $and a letter refusing any further service for her in my facility
