*** *** Pawn is in serious trouble and is making mistakes threatening me and libling and defaming me in publicI am currently seeking a lawyer to sue pawn one! I have yet to threaten one single employee while I have been threatened many timesIncluding not only receiving antisemtic remarks from the staff, but also an abject refusal by corporate to admit it or show a willingness to deal with itIn fact, the jerk replying told me I was lyingIm an observant jew! Im not lying! I plan on escalating this with jewish organizations who combat this type of antisemtismI think Mr *** needs to start looking for another job, because I am just getting started with pawn 1~ In the light of the recent racial tensions, I think the press will be delighted to see what this is all about.my loans will stay as they areI will have the remainder out by the end of julyNone of my things will be messed with AT ALL. Further, some of my property which I removed was returned to me damagedAmong those things a very rare sherline lathe with a brass bed was damagedI want compensated for it! The damage is new and clear and was not there when I took that lathe in last month!

[redacted] has contacted your institution regarding an unfortunate situation in one of our stores. She claims she requested that her sixty-day collateral loan be held until September 22nd and that it was pulled and no longer available for redemption.  There are some pressing details missing...

from [redacted] account.  Her loan was issued in March and due in May.  She asked for a date out at that time and was given until June 5th.  Therefore, we can establish that [redacted] knew and understood our policy and date out procedures.  Her loan was re-written and due on the 4th of August.  She called asking for a week of grace on the 4th.  She called again on August 12th and requested until the 22nd.  This, including late fees, would make her interest payment $57.00.   We complied and held her loan until August 22nd.  Though she did not appear at any time in store, we held her loan an additional three weeks, hoping she would contact us. We do attempt to contact our customers, however, both phone numbers she had given us were disconnected.  Having no additional information, and after not speaking to the customer for over a month, we made the decision to default and liquidate the collateral.  When [redacted] contacted us, on the 22nd of September, we explained the situation and offered to help retrieve a portion of her original loan that had not yet been liquidated.  At this time we also requested a working number and verified her information.  Unfortunately, the number she gave us is still invalid. This was done out of kindness by the manager who was willing to go above and beyond to assist this customer and, despite his generosity, he was still treated in an absolutely horrid manner. We want to note that verbal agreements are very clearly listed on our contract as unbinding and yet, we still offered her far more time than standard.

[redacted]My name is [redacted]. I am a veteran and have PTSD and the staff has been abusive and has a list of bad reviews online. I sent my son in to get the refund so I would not have to interact with them at all. They failed to mention this. My son is a calm kid, he is soft spoken and gentle around people. Anyone who knows him including his former HS can verify this.   I left an angry message demanding my money be returned by end of day, nothing else was said. I filed the complaint here at that time.I have been working on getting the loans out, and it is obvious this is being used against me in a further attempt to screw me over. Did I mention how insulting it is when you people thank a vet, say support our troops and then treat us this way? We dont naturally come into your stores looking for trouble, we get it from aggressive employees they hire. People with PTSD respond to negative stressors, they do not create them.  I also do not have a history of returning things, pawn one has a histiory of selling me crap, like the beringer amp, that was broken while int he store and didnt come up initially when playing it before I got it. I took it back a couple weeks later and got the same run around. I was told whats up and I was threatened by the smart mouth in the music corner. But pawn one employees do no wrong, they are next to jeezus.Again, I can show page after page of online reviews of others complaining of this same mistreatment. I entreat anyone to call axles and ask them about me. Im positive they will all agree I have been a pleasant customer. I have never had any issues with axles. Kind of odd isnt it? And the online reviews? Hardley no complaints from axles.Why is that? If my pawns are going to be threatened then I will escalate this. I cannot get everything out at once. And I have had my son deal with them this whole time so I would not have to. For this very reason! This proves they have lied. Im going to now file with the consumer affairs. And Im going to contact the JDL about the antisemitic remarks I have gotten that the mngment again denies without chedking their facts. They have a good ol boy network and are not going to tell the truth at all. I have proved what kind of business people these are, they are ss!

Mr [redacted] received a full refund for the item he purchased from Division.As stated in our last email Mr. [redacted] is welcome to pick up any of his current loans that have not gone into default.We do reserve the right to conduct business with whom we wish and do not tolerate abusive actions towards our employees.  At this point we no longer wish to do any further business with Mr.[redacted].Thanks,       [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:There is no resolution. The person told me I had several Revdex.com charges against me I do not. I have never filled till now. That tells me she is lying. I have NEVER filed a Revdex.com file in my life. WHY would she say that??She also said she thought it was icky of me to say that I wanted to embarrass the business,I do because the only thing I can do when they have destroyed my ring is only hurt them with what I have left the public. This company has not offered a settlement at all.

Bought 3 xboxes with 70+ games within 3 days great products and prices unless supervisor [redacted] is working. Won't work with prices and very rude and short tempered. Cost over $100 in sales lost tonight just from me! And informed me that being a repeat customer didn't have any bearing I will not return. if she's on duty run as fast as you can or else!

Review: I bought a guitar tuner and got it h ome and took it out of the box and it doesnt fit on my guitar and the lens was heavily scratched up. It is a cheaply made chinese tuner.

I sent my son to get my money back so I could go to guitar center for a better tuner and got nothing. They refused to give him his money back.

I want my [redacted] money back now or everyone is going to have massive problems.Desired Settlement: full refund

Review: The sales person who I originally dealt with said I could return the merchandise within 30 days. Also told me that I was getting a great price and could re-sell in the future with no loss. When I tried to return in 21 days I was told by another sales person (Adam was not there) that I could only get store credit or return at a loss of $150 despite the fact I never used it, let alone the sales person's pitch on the value of it. I went to the Manager and he was not helpful either. Had I been properly informed on their refund policies I would have been more cautious and not purchased. Further, there was nothing posted on their refund policies nor was is noted on my receipt. To make matters worse, I need the funds back in my account urgently due to a medical/physical condition that came to light after the purchase that makes it impossible for me to use the merchandise. I am delayed on my medical handling due to lack of funds and the powers that be at Pawn 1, Inc. are being uncooperative and insensitive to my situation which if not handled soon could jeopardize my ability to make an adequate living. Respectfully, [redacted]Desired Settlement: I will return all the merchandise in exchange for 100% cash refund of $381.59.

Here is more information of note for processing my claim that I submitted last night...

*The equipment I purchased was used i.e. a [redacted] Speaker, a [redacted] Mixer (that had been on display and being used for demos of their products for who knows how long- yet I paid "full price" for this as if it were new, when it was in fact, used), 2 cordless microphones.

* It included "free" cables with estimated value at $50 or so.

* I was expressly told and shown what a great deal I was getting my comparing to the best on-line prices, manufacturer prices, etc.

*The Manager's justification for his offer to purchase the merchandise back at a $150 loss for me was that it had already left the store, and in particular for the [redacted] Mixer- I had taken it out of the box! Yet, this Mixer had already been out of the box as covered above and not only that, the box was taken out of a storage room to package it for my purchase.

We are all good now. I am bringing in the merchandise and getting a full refund.

Review: I puchased a sony 3d tv right before close of business on 2/18/2014 and it was listed at 174.99 showing it was a tv with 120hz refresh rate when I took it home it only went up to 60hz and would not allow it to be changed. I brought the tv back the next day and was treated very badly they refused to give me my money back even though it was false advertising and didn't work the way itwas advertised. They said they would only give me half of my money back.Desired Settlement: I want my 174.99 plus tax back.

This is in response to complaint [redacted] submitted on 02/19/2014 by [redacted]. [redacted] did purchase said TV at our Hillyard location on 02/18/2014, it was not to her satisfaction so on the following day she came back to the store, the sale was voided and we returned to her $174.99 plus the tax charged. We do not understand why a complaint was filed since she was given a full refund. Our apologies in the delay in response to the complaint, but the original complaint was mailed to our Valley location.
