Review: I have asked for a pro-rated refund for a class in which I enrolled along with my very close friend, [redacted]. I attended the first class on a Thursday evening, May 22, 2014. On May 25, 2014, [redacted] unexpectedly passed away due to a sudden and irreversible heart attack. On May 27, 2014, I called Paws N Effect to explain that I could not possibly continue with the classes and asked for a pro-rated refund. The initial person with whom I spoke was insensitive but [redacted], the owner called me, offered her condolences and said, "I'd be happy to send you a refund." I have not yet received it AND I have called at least three times since the initial call and no one is responding.Desired Settlement: I want the pro-rated refund that is due to me. The total cost of the six classes was $170 and, dividing that by six, it comes to $28.33 per class. I attended the first class, so $170.00 minus the $28.33 comes to $141.67. I want this amount returned to me in the form of a check or credited to my credit card.
