***, I submit the following in response to the above ID [redacted] : On June 12, 2015, *** [redacted] brought in her Brother MFC printer because of a black line that only happened when printing from the auto document feeder The printer was cleaned and serviced and was picked up on June 16, It was printing fine (sample copies were provided to show it was not printing a black line anymore) Machine was brought back on July 15, 2015, with a "51" error message Customer was told the error meant it needed the purge unit replaced She was told the cost of the part ($40) She was not going to have to pay labor again even though it was past the 30-day warranty period as stated on the service ticket The customer refused to pay for the part She was refunded the amount she originally paid, minus the diagnosis fee and took the printer home as is A few days later she brought it back and wanted it fixed at no cost to her She was told again she would have to pay for the part ONLY which she again refused Once again she took the printer back unrepairedThank you, [redacted] , Owner Pax Printer Repair

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I never tried the machine at their place before taken it home I trust that they did to it what I brought in for I SWEAR this machine never gave me any problem other than the line that showed up at the time of scanning through the multi feeder Also, I have the receipt of the dates I brought and the date that I brought it back and none of them are accurate He is laying I cant believe that my working machine that was brought in for a simple cleanup service, after they had it, it does not print, fax or scans any more I complaint with the days that he mentioned and my credit card receipts will proof that he is wrong Also, he is arrogant, sarcastic and lack of professionalism when it comes to costumer services A older lady there, knows the whole situation and she is well aware that I called and complaints within the so call guaranteed period He needs to do right and fix my machine and this would be the end of it Other wise, I will need to take him to court But just for the principle since the machine is not worth all the trouble But he needs to learn his lesson I will make sure of that
Regards,
