We have been covered by BCBS dental plan since and have paid quarterly, months ago I got a letter from them informing me that my coverage was canceled for non payment, I resubmitted copies of canceled checks with little help I am convinced that in order to get a job with Florida combined life you must prove that you never attended school, you are unable to read, write, understand; namely you must be a mn to work there

I had dental insurance with Florida Combined Life for over yearsOut of the blue, my insurance policy was cancelled for no paymentI had automatic payments established through my checking accountWith no notification of the cancellation of the policy for my wife and I it has been absolute hell trying to work with the people of Florida Combined LifeAfter calls since August of and speaking with over different people and being on hold for many, many hours, I am still nowhere in resolving the problemEvery person in the company gives you a different responseThey refuse to connect you with a supervisorThey lie about everything or make up what they don't knowThey will transfer you to a department that has nothing to do with the reason you callThey hang up on youThey put you on permanent holdI once was on hold four hours waiting to talk with someoneDuring a hour time period, I spoke with someone for about minutes and the rest of the time was on holdAny number you find to call the company leads you to the same people, same departmentsYou cannot get through to executive management because no numbers are published for the corporationEven the phone number on this page for the Revdex.com is a non working numberDo not do business with this company
my experience with BCBS Florida Combine Life (Dental) I enrolled with them 12/to be covered for the new year Submitted my first payment in December & received email confirmationAnd now it's March I've called there office times (along w/automated services) to get my insurance card nothingWhen I try to make my monthly payments online I wasn't able to and when I call they say I wasn't enrolled then other repswould say I am enrolled (which is it)So when I called to make my payment For March they tell me my insurance was cancelled the end of Jan31, Granted each time I called my cards are on the way NEVER received themBut, the moment I call again last week 3/12/about my cards again I get a letter in the mail 3/16/quicker then receiving my dental cardsSCAM!!! Pissed consumer & they won't refund my money backDO NOT USE THEM FOR DENTAL INSURANCE because the representatives are a joke & they don't keep record of anything even if you do....I don't want to give them any stars

I left the site 01/12/then logged back on to finish 01/13/when I had the premium covered to pay for bothwhen I finished it said completedthen they pulled my money for dental on 1/15/I received my card and begun to call,email or whatever I could to get answers-every call was "we dont have you listed" "your id is not valid" One call she sent me a list of dentist VIA email (i have it still to show for proof).NONE are here, or my dentist.I called 02/18/and they said,they do not have my dentist and only one available to me and it is miles away but he cannot do work on me and she added they DO NOT email a list.????what? then who sent it to me? of course the email to reply to said, failed! I received that email on 02/16/after reviewing them I said these are not in my area or my dentistI said then cancel this its only 2/18/and it said days to cancelshe said, I cannot cancel and there no way around it I said YES there is I cannot use any other dentist, then the one I enter,or it will kill me (allergies) she said, I have to send a letter to cancel to, GET THIS! I have had problems with my dental coverage which I have had for many years The trouble started October 2016, when they sent me a bill I sent checks for months I received a letter that my coverage was cancelled in December Yes, the year on the letter was I have called the company times to resolve this issue, however they sent me separate checks returning my payments I called and cancelled the coverage, however I'm still receiving bills ranging from $to $ I sent the bills back explaining I no longer had coverage In the meantime, I have obtained dental coverage with another company But received another bill this week for March 2017, $ I called but could not get through to billing, but the call center employee said that my coverage was cancelled I'm going to send this bill back with the dental card cut in half and hope it gets their attention
Florida Blue Dental via Florida Combined Life offers online chat to sell you a policy, but buyer beware once you have a policy as their online contact capability becomes zilch They actually seem to hide from online customer service
Beware of their billing department There are times when I have paid my annual invoice only for a "monthly payment due" email to show in my inbox months later When I've called to get the issue resolved, I had to describe to the support person how to look up my invoice and payment in order to resolve that it had been paid for the year Even after they acknowledged the payment, they said they had to submit a request to correct the information and couldn't promise that it would be corrected That, to me, was amazing that their billing could be so messed up and they couldn't correct it when the problem was discovered
I've already started to shop for another plan I wouldn't mind working directly with Florida Blue Dental but not when they farm their business to the incompetent billing department of Florida Combined Life
