Payday Mobility Reviews (36)

Review: I had an emergency and needed a small loan until my VA payment came in. I used payday mobility services with the understanding of how payday loans works. The initial person that I spoke with took my information and approved me for a $150 loan, she then proceeded to give me instructions on the payment process. I was told that I would have a fee and that I would have to pay $22.50 back for the duration of the loan until I paid it back. I have paid $22.50 for 8 weeks up to present and I have in totaled paid them $180. I received an email about having to make a new payment of $27.18 per month and a new payment agreement where I would have to pay the $22.50 plus $4.68 which would make a monthly payment of $27.18. I called the company to see why I am still paying it back and the gentleman that I talked to told me that I was misunderstanding the process regardless of what I was told and that the first 8 weeks of payment took care of only a service fee and I had to still pay the principal and onto of that another monthly fee. Again like I said I have done business with payday loans before and know that on most you DO have a fee on top of the loan fee which is mostly no more than $40 for a loan the amount that I received. I then asked the gentleman how much I would have to pay to complete the loan and he told me that I would have to pay back the price of the loan plus the 22.50 which would in total equal out to be $172.50, which if we do that math with what I already paid would be more than doubled what I borrowed. I think this company is ripping people off because they didn't tell me that I would be paying back double the loan amount otherwise I would not have done it.Desired Settlement: I would like them to settle with what they have already taken and release me from my loan and stop taking funds from me.

Review: Asked for a 350.00 loan and was told I could make multiple payments first payment of 150.00 and 52.50 a week after that its been 7 payments of 52.50 and inital 150.00 made weekly and I called to find out how much more I owe and was told I still owe the 350.00 nothing I have paid these people has gone to the principal of the loan. I was lied to about the cost of this loan. A customer service rep told me after a few payments of 52.50 weekly I could call and change the amount, but had 40 weeks to pay back loan and the 150.00 paid at the begining of the loan was intrest I feel this company was not very truthful and I am being taken advantage of along with many other people. Most people are not going to find out like I did that your payments are not payments at all until it gets close to amount you borrowed and 350.00 is the least amount that can be borrowed. They are like loan sharks and ACTION MUST BE TAKEN.Desired Settlement: I would like that the monies paid to Payday Mobility be all that I was owed on my 350.00 loan and the account shown as paid in full.

Review: I contacted this website call PayDay Mobility did an application over the phone I borrow $400.00 they explained to me that I would have a fee of $120.00 and I said ok not bad for $400.00 they said that I was going to pay $120.00 every 2 weeks till I pay off the loan n the fee, I said cool I don't have to pay everything at once then she said to me that the money would be there next day I look into my bank account on Friday ,saturday and Sunday n didn't see any deposit from this company at all so I said to myself maybe didn't approved it so I didn't worry about but then Monday my fiancee checks the account and see the $400.00 deposited into our account. So I said ok took longer then other payday Loans. But recently I noticed that they took more money out of my bank account on 8/12/2013 for the amount of $120.00 again I called Payday Mobility and I told them that why they took more money out and the started to say that I still own them 400.00 plus the $120.00 fee I told them that they were crazy they stated that they explained that to me I said no you didn't because I would it take care of it a long time ago they said we try to send you e-mails and they keep saying undelivered I said to them listen I receive all my e-mails I on on Junks and everything I haven't received not even a single email from your company at all I said to them send me an email now they did and I received it right away I knew there they were lying then she said let me transfer you to the Manager I said ok the lady picked up the phone and I explained to her and she said ok lets settle this for $160.00 and the loan will be paid off I said ok they supposed to withdraw from my account $160.00 this Friday coming up 8/23/13 but then I started to google this Payday Mobility and I found a lot of people complaining for the same thing I contact my bank and they said to write to this website .Desired Settlement: I just want my money back thats all

Review: I took a payday loan from this company but I should have known something was off when I was speaking with the customer service rep; needless to say my family was in a little financial bind so I took this loan out. Now when we original discuss the terms it was never mentioned that the fee was $300, my loan was only for $500. I found out it was $300 when an email was sent to me in June I responded by sending a response email and no one has made contact with me. Last month they tried to go into my account twice. This month they took not 300 from me but 362. I made immediate contact with my bank and we put a stop payment on my account, the only info that the bank could see was a telephone number no company name was attached which was weird, the also so another company name like an AKA. The bank and I were both like something is up. I called the number provided and instructed them that I have made contact with the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: Because I took out the loan from this company I would like the $362 that they took from me to be taken as payment toward the loan which leaves me with a balance of $138. I will owe no more to this company after paying the 138.

Review: This is a payday loan company. No paperwork has been involved. They agreed to loan $500 with an $800 payback over 10 months. The first months payment was explained to be $300, and the remaining $500 repayable over 10 months. However, the company NEVER mentioned that they charge a $300 "service fee" each month just to keep the account open. They have called and threatened to ARREST because I would not honor this unmentioned fee. In reading ripoffreport.com, I have found NUMEROUS others that are struggling with this company. They tried to take their "service fee" of $300 last month, and I had my bank reverse it, explaining the circumstances. I owe them $500, but they are demanding a settlement of $671, payable today by 5 pm or they will involve the police. This is harassment.Desired Settlement: Agree to pay the existing $500 owed over 10 months AS AGREED to initially with this company.

Review: Payday loans are illegal to lend, collect or report in the State of North Carolina. I have made attempts to respond to emails sent to me by Payday Mobility and the company is now trying to illegally draft my bank account for funds. I have more than paid back the amount borrowed minus the outrageous interest rate. I have sent them the information regarding the law on payday loans in North Carolina and they are ignoring it and trying to illegally gain access to my funds. If this behavior persists, I will contact the Attorney General of North Carolina and file a formal complaint with them.Desired Settlement: Stop contacting me, do not attempt to collect on the debt, and do not report to any credit bureaus.

Review: The company has taken more interest than agreed. We have been paying interest only, thinking we were reducing the balance. I called the company and they stated that we agreed to pay this interest only, but could not produce a contract. They claimed it was all explained in an email that we never received.Desired Settlement: I would like for the company to apply all or at least part of the interest we have already paid to the balance.

Review: the merchant states the amount that would be loaned and the interest accrued to the balance.

the merchant never stated there would be a fee associated with borrowing along with the min payment only paying down

less than 5 percent of the balance- example on a 187.50 loan, there is a out of the blue fee for the loan that the company charges of 56.25, min payment of 12.50 total 68.75. of this payment on only 8.00 goes towards the principal. there are two other loans that are similar- one of the loans for 50.00 they are taking 15.00 and non of this payment is being applied to the principle. This is not what I signed up for. I need some one to expose this company for outrageous fees they are charging customers. The are making crazy money on these loan by charging fees and extremely high interest and not applying hardly any of the payments to the principal I have these loans since june and the balances have only gone down by 20-30 dollars. that is ridiculous. I need to work out a settlement to end any business with this company.Desired Settlement: balance total -500.00

I have paid more than the balance at this point- I need them to agree to a settlement with me in order to finish the account. I can pay 250.00 now.

Review: I borrowed 500.00 from payday mobolity loans that operates out Wilmington DE so far I have paid them 450.00.They did not tell me or email me there term but I thought I would pay 150.00 a month for a couple of months but that didn!t happen. They are chargeing me 60% on this loan and plan to take 300.00 a month out of my checking acct. and that does not go on the principle. I was unaware of this kind of transaction and so far they have taken out 450.00 from my acct. I talked to them about this and they said the email they sent to me told me to call them about this matter. The only email I got was when the next payment was due.Ther has to to be some kink of unfair lending laws as to this matter. This sort of bussinness is ridicules. I refuse to pay anyone 2 or 3000.00 for a 500.00 loan therfore I will be seeking legal advise for such a loan like this sounds like loan sharking to me. I am in the proces of changeing my checking acct. so they can!t get to my money but I am not refusing to pay them a reasonable amount to settle this situation or they will just have to turn me over to collections. This is how they want to be paid , a 300.00 fee plus 62.50 on the principle crazy uh. I am not going to do it cause I could file a chapter 7 on them and they don!t get nothing.

Thank You,

Gregory EliaDesired Settlement: I propose that Payday Mobility loans accept a one time payment of 600.00 leaving them with 550.00 profit on Oct 1, 2016

Review: On June 13, 2013 I applied for a loan with payday mobility for $500.00. I received an e-mail showing the loan amount of $500.00 and the first payment fee of $150.00 for July 1, 2013 and the next due date of August 1, 2013. There were also four payment options on the bottom of the e-mail. None of the loan conditions or extra fees was stated on the e-mail. On Aug 1, 2013, payday mobility drafted a $300.00 payment from my account. I thought this was a payment towards the principal of the loan and the loan fee. I called payday mobility and found out that this was just a 60% fee for not paying off the loan in the first month. So I decided to pay the rest of the loan off on August 1, 2013 with a payment scheduled for August 2, 2013 in the amount of $500.00 in addition to the $300.00 payment made on August 1, 2013. So on $500.00 loan that I am attempting to pay off in six weeks Ive been charged $450.00 in fees and interest. As of August 2, 2013 6:15pm they have yet to draft the payment. I called and they said there was a computer error and the draft could not be made and it may be drafted later tonight or by Monday morning. My concern is that they will continue to delay the payment so that they may charge me additional fees.Desired Settlement: Please help me, I am a disabled Veteran recieving Social Security Disablity in which I will recieve my first scheduled payment on August 28, 2013. I cannot afford to change my bank account in order to prevent these crooks from taking additional fees and interest payments. I do not want to delay my monthly entitlement. I cannot get anything in writing showing that this final payment will be the last.

Review: Out of desperation I took out a payday loan from Payday Mobility for the amount of $400.00 in August 2013 to date I have paid $782.50 which is more than my loan and including fees. Don't understand why my loan is not paid off? They have scheduled a payment for $112.00 to be taken out of my account on November 15, 2013. The company does not send billing statements on the loan.Desired Settlement: I feel that my loan is paid off but according to the company and fees and charges, it looks like I still owe them money.

Review: I had problems with this company in April of 2014 regarding an unauthorized draft of my bank account causing overdraft fees. After going back and forth I was finally able to get reimbursed for my over draft fees and the payment was rescheduled for the date that it should have been. On the scheduled payment date the money never came out, I called the company several times and was given countless excuses that their system was down or upgrades were being done and they couldn't access my records at the time. Now, months later I get an email stating that they were going to start withdrawing $25 for payments towards my balance every two weeks according to my pay schedule until the balance was fulfilled. I decided this was fine until I could call and just pay the balance. Instead of it being every two weeks there was $25 being taken out of my account randomly every few days. When I called and finally was able to speak with someone after leaving several messages and never receiving a returned phone call the gentlemen said "sorry, I don't know why the dates are wrong"

This business is a total joke and should be investigated in their dealings.Desired Settlement: The way this company does business is unacceptable and everything about my dealings with them has been sketchy and questionable. I can't imagine I'm the only one to have these problems. The company should be investigated.

Review: Payday Mobiltiy socilitated me In Massacheuttes for a $300.00 Payday Loan a few months back. I have paid the loan back at a rate of $90.00 over 5 periods for a total of $450.00 dollars. Now payday mobility is telling me I owe them another $900.00 on top of the money they already got. I have paid back my loan plus interest. They are not legal service and do not comply with the Small Loan Act in Massacheuttes. Also, when there systems were down and unable to debit my account using ACH, they procced to write them selves a check using my name and took money out of my account. (The chcek they used didnt even have my write address nor did I sign it)Desired Settlement: I want my account to be marked paid in full. As of the $300 I loaned, $450.00 was paid back.

Review: I did an online loan with Payday mobility for $500.00 In July 13. acct # 111076. I am suppose to pay minimum payment on 8 2 13 of $300.00 I tried to contact them to see if I could make payment arrangements no answer. Also I found that compliants have been filed against them. Also I found out that They are not licensed to business in the state of [redacted] per KRS 286.9-020 which makes it unlawful to accept a deferred transaction without a license. Additionally , KRS 286.-035(1) state that a deferred deposit transaction entered into an unlicensed person is "voidwhatsover" Therefore Payday Mobility shall "cease and desist" it attempts to enforce the terms of all deferred deposit agreements entered into with me and Payday mobility. With the stated facts my loan agreement should be null and void and all principal fees etc should be "void whatsoever" and that I do not owe Payday mobility any monies at all per KRS 286.9-020 Please check into matter Please Advise Have my loan wiped out. [redacted]Desired Settlement: Please have my loan done away with as if I do not owe anything

Review: PayDay Mobility is a dishonest company, I had did business with this company in the early part of July 2013 in where I had borrow money online for $255.00 and the customer respresentative made it seems that as their repayment loan process was very easy and I would have been able to repay the loan within a few months, it seems everytime when I was making these payments and I am thinking that I will be done with this loan soon, I find out that there were all of these hidden fees and the amount of overdrafts that I was receiving from my bank was way too much at this point, I tried to call one of those consolation company in order to help with trying to repay the loan and the representative had gave me the phone number to the New York Banking Dept. once I had called and spoken to a representative he listen to me then informed me to contact the company and asked them to redo my loan with the legal rate of 16% then call him back and file a complaint with the Dept. of Financial Service. I had called the company and they refused to go by the legal rate and refused to work with me. I then file my complaint with the Dept. of Financial Service. Now I believe this company is calling and pretending to threaten me with the police I had received this call on my personal cell on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013 at 11:24am from Austin, TX from this number ([redacted] and then another call on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013 at 12:14pm from [redacted] and it came displayed on my phone as "Police N,YC" I though it was strange that after this company refuse to work with me by changing the rate number that now that I am getting threatening phone calls that someone is going to come to my house or my place of employment to arrest me and hold me for 7 days unless I pay back the loan. I still have the voicemail on my phone for my proof. I then had called back the New York Banking Dept and the representative inform me that the company is trying to scare, but I don't like playing games like that at all.Desired Settlement: I feel this company is very dishonest and the threatening phone calls are not funny at all and I take things like that very serious. I feel since the company has charged me so much with fees that this loan payment should be pay in full and closed. I want the company to stop calling my phone, my job and stop trying to take money from my checking account. If I have to repay back this company I would do it by Western Union or by mail but the loan rate must be under the legal rate of 16% as it was told to me by the New York Banking Dept. If PayDay Mobility must contact me it can be by email.

Review: I was contacted by the company as a result of an application with a lending service. They took my application for a payday loan over the phone for $500. The rep told me their fee is $150 and the total I would owe is $650. She said the first payment would be their $150; and the loan would be split into bi-weekly payments until paid. The first $150 payment was made and I received an email saying my next payment of $150 would be due. I became concerned at that point and emailed the company. This was the response:"Dear Kimberly,The loans fee is NOT a one time fee. Your loan will be repaid over a maximum of 20 payments. For the first 4, your minimum payment will be your loans fee only. For the next 16 payments your remaining principal balance will be divided into equal pieces and added to your loan fee each payment. This will allow you to pay your loan in full by the last payment. You can always pay your loan in full sooner by making additional principal payments.Payday Mobility will e-mail you a Payment Option Form before every due date. This form gives you the option of making the minimum payment only or making an additional principal payment. Please select a payment option via our Payment Option website at least two business days before your payment due date. You are encouraged to make an additional principal payment each due date."I then let the person know that it wasn't explained to me that way when my loan was processed, nor did I get anything via email (or regular mail) outlining those terms and conditions.Desired Settlement: I feel that 4 payments of $150 is excessive and since that's not what I was told I shouldn't have to pay it. I paid the initial $150 that I was told I would have to pay. I should only have to pay the remaining $500.
