Revdex.com:[redacted]I did bring in the vehicle several times before they actually stated I went back. They also changed computer systems one time when I went in before.( A  girl at front in desk told me that one time.they kept my car in past and had to do some type of hose test with pressure on the outside of it. a long time ago when I went in).  Ask them about that how far back they can go on there computer system.( they said files were somewhere else) I now know to get paperwork and file it. When  I went to get the van yesterday they said they would drop at dealership and didnt inform me there was a bill , when talked to dealership they said was a bill.They charged me for the weather stripping $179 and change and never called to ask if amount was okay to install in the first place. I was under impression they were replacing with no charge, never informed me of the charge before proceeding, and then sent a bill after completed. I left the van at dealership because I do not agree.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12446656, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The customer has failed to notify that the vehicle was involved in a flood on 05/2013 that his insurance company paid Ray Brandt Toyota to replace engine , remove and clean carpet. He has been in the Toyota service dept. at least 15 times and never once said his rear hatch was leaking. Like we stated in our last statement, the weather strip was dry rotted due to debris that was trap between the body of the car and weather strip due to poor maintenance. Have know idea what the customer is talking about with the computer. Maybe something when the flood work was done at the dealership. We are sending the same documented picture from first response.
