Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
I have a problem with Payette County Title and Escow holding the funds in their
bank account for two weeks prior to paying off my mortgage This practice may not be illegal, but in my mind it is highly unethical! The closing documents stated the *** *** *** was to paid off with the house sale proceeds I have dealt with this title company in the past and didnt have anything like this happen before

Once the borrower called us to say that [redacted] did not get the payoff we immediately researched and saw that it did not go out and we at that point sent it out, there was a late charge of $83.29 which we paid to the lender. This was a FHA payoff so there was no additional interest owing on this because the full month of interest is paid on an FHA payoff no matter what date they receive it. The borrower was not out any money.This late charge assessed was 3 days late. Until a payment is 30 days late it will not show as a negative mark on any future credit reports.
