8/5/Hi. My mane is Lisa and I was the person that spoke to *** ***. When she was looking for a locksmith company she actually called us twice. First time I told her we charge $service call to come out and starting rate at $dispense on the secure of the
lock, she asked me how much think it will Be and I said I can’t give you an exact price because I don't know what needs To get done in order to get the lock openI did tell her that if it’s a building it’s usually a commercial type lock and a medium to high Secure.I did tell her that it can be as much as $$or $based on the secure. But I told her when the technician will get there he will give her all the prices and option's BEFORE starting the job, and if she don’t want the service no problems. When one of our technicians got there he said “yes it is a high secure mechanism. He told the customer that its mechanism and told her that he can avoid drilling And try to open without damage to the mechanism. He told her the price of $plus the $service callShe said ok go ahead. Once the customer agrees for the service than we start the job.We got it open for her and she paid what she was told and she did not Have to replace the lock because we opened the door with no damage we will be more than happy to provide a picture of the lock if needed. And on our website its saying “this cost is a minimum estimate for the respective JobThe final cost will varyThis will depend on the security level of the lock System. And just for the information the customer did not called to complain. The next day her boyfriend called and started screaming even thaw he Wasn't on sight when we were there.I tried explaining to him exactly what was the the type of lock she had. But all he did was screaming and being very brutal. Our company will not get any job done unless giving the customer the full information before starting any job.We did not take any advantage of this customer, she fully agreed for this service. Please keep me posted.Thank you.Lisa

I am rejecting this response because:Some of the stated information is grossly inaccurate. If I read the handwritten note correctly, it appears that the business is claiming its locksmith used a [redacted] credit card device to transfer my credit card information via cellphone for approval. That absolutely did not happen. I saw the locksmith type my credit card information directly into a text message using the default text messaging interface on the phone. I'm confident that if Revdex.com and/or the Maryland Attorney General's Office were to subpoena the locksmith's phone records, I could prove what I'm saying. Morever, I challenge the locksmith to produce a [redacted] transaction receipt/report for the credit card approval. What's more, I think it would make sense for Revdex.com and/or the Maryland Attorney General's Office to attempt to verify that the locksmith and business in question is a [redacted] customer, including when the business started using the service. My inclination is that the business might have started using the service in response to my complaint.

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
in large part because of the many inaccuracy contained in it. Starting with Ms M[redacted] A (Ms A?) claim that the technician was only about 10-15 mins late. I called their office at 8:32 on the evening of Wed Feb 25th because I had locked my keys in the car. Explained to the woman who answered the phone what had happened. Also explained that I was on the [redacted] Army Base and that the technician would have to show ID at the gate. She said the technician would call me soon, and would likely be there in about 35 mins. The technician did call at 8:37 confirmed the address, and I told him that he would have to show ID at the gate to get on the base. He said he would be there in about a half an hour (eta 9:07). At 9:14 I called the technician to ask where he was. He asked me to send him a text message with the address, which I did along with the name and number of the building as well as the phone number. Then at 9:23 he sent a text message asking for the zip code. Again I replied and asked his ETA. He replied at 9:25 10 mins. I replied Great let me know if you have any more problems. At 9:29 he called me to ask about getting thought the gate.
When he did get there he said it would be $15.00 for the service call, and $120.00 for the 'emergency lock-out service' I agreed and he opened the the car. His exact arrival time is not as easily documented as is all the  phone calls and text messages are with my cellular records (as has been the case here, and I am willing to provide, if necessary). However after my car was opened, I paid the fee, and left I got a text message at 10:08 asking "what's the name of gate I got through" to get off the base. I called him back at 10:09 and told him the same one he came in.
Ms A assertion that the technician was only 10-15 mins late is not support by any evidence in her response. Rather it is disproved by the timeline above. The technician was over a half hour late, arriving some time between 9:30 and !0:00. It was not due the the in-climate weather as she stated. The link below is the the historical weather data at Fort Belvoir VA on Feb 25th. The high temperature was 42 recorded at 6:19pm and there was no precipitation.

[redacted]
Also her claim of the technician offered a discount seems to be lacking in merit. Since that ($135.00) seems to be about 'the going rate', and the technician made no mention of any discount at any time. As for her contention that I used 'bad language' on the phone the next day when I call to tell her what had happened is just not true. I became agitated when she constantly interrupted me while I was speaking. However never use any 'bad language'.
In her response Ms A made some rather accusatory remarks about me, and possibly my character that seemed unnecessary and beyond the bounds of professionalism. Remarks such as that "I was taking advantage of her technician", and that I was "rude to the technician". Not really sure how either of these remarks could have any truth to them. I was locked out of my car, so I needed the technician to open it and was not in much of a position of leverage to take advantage of the technician. He could have left if I presented any kind of a problem, also I paid him what he asked. As for 'having to hang up on me' before she did Ms A said "the next time you need service don't call them"
This seems to be Ms A's and Payless Locksmith's way of conducting business, since on [redacted] they have only one star from all seven reviews. Many of which would have given them no stars if that was an option and question their business practices and customer service. It seems as if they are not very concerned either. Finally just about ever chance they had to make this situation better or less worst, they did not. They did not take any initiative when they were running late, to get in-touch to let me know or ask for any additional information. The next afternoon Ms A was not the slightest bit conciliatory. Which seems to be rather apparent in the tone of her response.
Which could be one of many possible explanations, why Ms A chose not to sign her full name to the response? All of this could have been avoided if they had made some, or any effort to conduct themselves in a professional manor, or at the very least not inflame the situation.
