Should be called "pay more" movingAfter giving me a quote over phone and insisting his truck does bdrm moves all the time..no problem, the cost go up every time I turned aroundThey did not get everything in their truck and we don't have a !lot of stuffWe had no couch chair coffee table ect....I borrowed the neighbor's truck and asked them to load it...$it will cost me....even tho he said his truck could take it all at 1st....then he wanted another $to UNLOAD it! We told him to shove it! $for washer/dryer was added as well They wouldn't unload anything until they were paid (in cash) Although they showed up last minute after our original movers cancelled due to sickness with his crew, I now see why they were the only ones available last minute at the end of the monthThey are rude and not very careful with our belongings, would not take extra step with out more $, and just plain frustrating to deal with.I feel they too advantage of us because we were desperate I would not recommend these guys ever to anyone B
Moving a friend in to an apartment yesterday, these guys moving someone outThe building manager triple booked the elevator and left us to settle it ourselvesSo they took a load down and we would take one up (seems reasonable)They were actually moving a day late and it was our elevator time, but they managed to get the key from the building managerThe other moving company *** (guys were very nice) was using the stairsComing up to unload out of the elevator, the one PayLess guy (short, skinny, bald, glasses) started yelling and swearing at us (girls and our one guy friend helping us) that we can't use the elevator right now, get out of the f*ing way (they were blocking the elevator and we couldn't get out) and that he was going to call the cops if we continued to use the elevator (go ahead, it's hardly a crime)They thought we were with the other moving guys (we weren't)The girl who had hired PayLess was almost in tears apologizing to us and wouldn't even ride in the elevator alone with themThe mouthy guy yelled at us the whole time we unloaded the elevatorOur male friend yelled back, but the whole time telling them it would be a lot easier and less stressful if we just worked togetherThen the other PayLess mover (larger, darker hair) who was being more reasonable said "*** ***" So my friend did call the cops
Obviously I didn't hire them - but I would NEVER use them, not if they were the last moving company availableWhen you are out in public doing a job, you're an ambassador for the companyIf this is how the company supports treating people ever, EVEN in a stressful situation, then I don't want anything to do with them
