frustration with the overall loan application process, including incorrect reporting information that resulted in a denialPayoff has certain requirements and must review certain documents in order to ensure a consumer’s ability to repay the loan for which they are applyingOur first concern is that, in facilitating the funding of a loan to a consumer, we do not put the consumer in a worse position as a result of the loanWe want to help people pay off their debt once and for allIf the loan offered on the Payoff Platform does not help a consumer, our Bank partner will not make the loanWe understand it can be frustrating having to wait for a final decision and regret any inconvenience caused to you as a result of the time spent during the application processAgain, to Payoff, our customer’s betterment is of the utmost importanceWe do not want to facilitate a loan that does not make economic sense to a customerOnly through a thorough underwriting process can we determine the suitability of the Payoff Loan to a consumerShould you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at ***

Payoff, Incis in receipt of the complaint you filed with the Revdex.comWe appreciate the time you took to bring the issues you experienced in paying off your loan to our attention and for the time you took speaking with me this morningWe take your concerns seriously and appreciate
the opportunity to respond fully to them in this letter. You expressed your frustration over the time it took for your payment to post to your Payoff accountWe understand that you sent a hard copy check to pay off the balance of your loan on June 23, via priority mailThat check, according to your records, arrived at Payoff’s lockbox on June 26, The payment was posted to your account on July 3, It can take between three and five business days for a hard copy check retrieved from our lockbox to post to a member account due to varying mail delivery times which may include weekends and holidays and confirmation of funds availability from the bank that issued the check I personally spoke to the manager of Member Experience and confirmed that he did call you at 8:AM on July 6, He left you a voicemail to inform you know that your payment had posted on July 3, and that your account was paid in full We apologize if you were displeased with the time it took us to apply to your payment to your accountWe do, however, want to congratulate you on paying off your loan and wish you well on your future financial journey If you should have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at ###-###-#### or via email and ***@payoff.com
