Zero Help, scammer supporter
Paypal I had been using them for years. When I needed them to do their job they did not. They say if someone scams you, You will not have to pay. Why else would you use them anyway if not for a layer of protection?
A scammer copied as they often do an other companies' web page so it looks identical. When you buy something from them you find within a few minutes that is is a scam because it will show where the money is going to be sent and it is not a the companies' name on the receiving end alarm bells start going off, telling you it is a scam. Immediately I contacted Paypal telling them NOT TO SEND THE MONEY, IT IS A SCAMMER..! As it takes a day or so for the money to be transferred so Paypal had time to stop the transaction. The money is not going into the companies account making this easy to see it is a scam. Well Paypal sends the money anyway. You know that Paypal makes money on every transaction, so if no transaction then they don't make money off it. This went on for over a month me telling Paypal over and over... What these scammers do and Paypal knows it, is they send some junk, could be used coffee grounds, or an empty box just as long as the scammer has a tracking number showing they sent something. AGAIN, me explaining this to Paypal and you know that Paypal already knows this type of scam but does NOT give a crap as long as they make their cut... All I can say is do not use Paypal... They will side with the scammer... Tell your friends, do not tell anyone that you hate so they will get screwed sooner or later...

I'm posting my experience here so that others may be aware This is a particular situation that apparently *** resolution has no remedy
Anyhow, here's what happened I sold an item to a customer that he claimed was damaged during shippingThe item as a 11x17" chinese water color print circa that was framed The buyer asked that I remove it from the frame and forward just the print as his intentions were to forward it overseas Due to the age of the item I informed the buyer that I could not remove the print from the frame in fear of damaging the print I packaged the item accordingly with excessive bubble wrap and in a rigid shipping container to guarantee any possible shipping damageFurthermore I shipped the item with *** insurance in the event of damage
About a week later the buyer entered a "not as described" dispute through paypal*** immediately held the funds (137.00) which is totally reasonable and proper
The problem is that the buyer did not follow the procedure to process a *** insurance claim by taking the original packaging and item to the post office for inspection
Apparently *** has no remedy for a situation such as this and as a result ruled in the buyer's favor leaving no opportunity to recover loss through shipping insurance
*** policy regarding this particular type of issue negates any *** insurance protection *** choice to refund buyers for apparently damaged shipments is certainly within their discretionI feel fortunate to have discovered this early in the relationship and will no longer use the service
So, just a warning for those out there who feel secure in purchasing shipping insurance if *** is involved in the transactionYou have no protection as the seller

This company employs liars and cheats. They do not care about their customers and have no desire to correct their own mistakes. This company should be shut down.

PayPal will close your account for any reason they choose, offer no explanation or reason why, then seize your money and hold it for 180 days or 6 months. PayPal is despicable.

What a ridiculous company! If you complain they block you from posting on this site. Even when you don't swear, you still get blocked.
This is seriously the largest scam out there!
I added cash to my Paypal account. Couldn't send it even though there is absolutely no reason, I couldn't. Customer Service even said there was no good reason.
Called three times today. Their voice recognition on their phone line is horrible. Every single question I had to answer at least three times because the machine didn't understand what I was saying. I work in what is essentially Customer Service and speak rather clearly because of it.
First time, the lady on the other end agreed with me that I was not lucky and got upset when I said I'd be calling back to arrange for a check to be sent. She did suggest I find a different person to send money to, like a different company or something.
Second time, the lady was actually somewhat helpful. My problem was far from solved but at least she explained some things.
Let me stop for a second and say that I have epilepsy which prevents me from driving. As someone who deals with people for a living I don't get easily stressed but this situation caused me to have a seizure.
She suggested I go to Walmart and open a bank account. If I could open a bank account I'd have one and wouldn't need to use Paypal to send money!
Frustrated, I searched the net to find something I could use that I could spend this trapped money on, some place that accepted Paypal. Found one and placed an order, this person was more expensive though. I asked the vendor to send me an invoice for half of what I wanted because I wanted to see if it would work. I told them if it did work to send another invoice for the second half and I'd head to 711 and add the $25 cash that I needed to make up for the difference and then pay the invoice once the money was on my account.
They sent me an invoice and I tried to submit payment that way (like the first lady told me I should do) but that wouldn't work either.
Third time's a charm. I called, yelled at the voice-recognition system several times, not out of anger but because it's so poorly designed that you literally have to. (You'll be angry before you even get to a representative because of that stupid voice-recognition system.)
I finally got through and immediately asked for someone higher up that could actually do something.
Got a guy named Brandon and he helped me a lot actually. He put some authorization on my account and had me try to send payment while on the phone. The original person I was trying to send payment to still didn't work but I tried the second one, the one previously mentioned that I found online, and that actually worked. He said the authorization that he added lasts 30 days.

So now came a second invoice for the second half of what I wanted. I headed to 711 and added the cash. Tried to pay the invoice and no, once again I'm stuck with useless money on my account.
Now what's funny is I complained on FB once and had my comments deleted because they don't like profanity. Fine, I reposted one without the single-swear and that was deleted too, weird. Not only that but they blocked me. Extra weird.
Especially when you consider that I'm the best kind of customer, the kind that gives you money and gets nothing in return.
I'm filing a complaint with NH's department of consumer affairs. This has been the single worst experience dealing with a business that I've ever had.
I will try to process the payment again later on but don't expect it to work.
Another thing that should be noted to customers - It was explained to me by Brandon, who was very helpful and seems like a good guy, that their system will block payments but won't tell them why it does it. So they have to just blindly suggest potential solutions based on the info their given. They actually have no more information than we do.
That's really pathetic for such a large company.
Once again, this comment is saved. Block me again, this time for no reason at all, I have more. Also all of my comments as well as your responses and actions such as blocking me from commenting are being included with my complaint to Consumer Affairs. As of right now your company has stolen money from me and can't, or won't, do anything about it.
The only solution now, assuming tomorrow Customer Service won't be able to get this second part of my payment to go through, is to cancel the first half of the payment and have them send me a check.
Now I would never have used Paypal if I had a bank account. There'd be no need. But since I don't have a bank account I'm out of luck cashing this check. Stay away.

I set up a 12 month no interest plan with Dyson and put it on Paypal credit, with whom they had the agreement. Once I set that up, Paypal switched all my Paypal default payments, whether charitable or billing agreements to Paypal credit, messing up my 12 month no interest agreement. When I called, I was switched to 7 difference account specialists and no one could tell me why they had changed my account to deactivate my bank for automatic payments and had changed my automatic payments of any kind to either Paypal balance or Paypal credit. This is fraud. I did not authorize at any time, Paypal to use my account to add billings to Paypal credit as a default funding source.

I started a transfer of $1000 from my PayPal account to my Checking account (USAA) and the transfer has not occurred. PayPal indicated that the funds were transferred on December 29, 2016 but as of December 31, 2016 the funds have not appeared in my bank account. I know the link works as I have previously sent money from my USAA account to my PayPal account. No one was available to contact at PayPal regarding my complaint.

So PayPal permanently limited my account. They provided no reason/explanation to why my account was limited. They told me I could create a new account when I was 18 but permanently limited it for "Security Issues" whilst there were only 2 transactions on the account. They gave me no reason for the limitation whatsoever.
