Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The items noted in the response did not happenNot only did I never received any contact from Tom in voicemail or text message I received no assurance that the repairs would be done like they needed to beI was never given a price or time frame of when the repairs would happen or costI had to initiate each communicationI have all the text messages on my phone to show thatI am saddened that the response letter insinuates that the problem did not arise when I said it didIt did indeed have the issue but since the truck still ran I didn't concern myself with it too muchIt was only after learning what the problem actually was and what can happen if it wasn't fixed that I brought it to Marcie's attentionThey want to diagnose the issue there but not only do I not trust them at this point they couldn't even get the owner/mechanic/whoever to call me one single timeIt's disappointing to see the business' response as suchI have taken the truck to two different sources as well as done extensive research regarding the codes the truck has givenBoth shops came to the same conclusionOne of them is performing the work as we speakI've never thought I'd purchase a lemon but I didThere's no doubt in my mind that these problems were evident prior to the truck being soldThe ad noted that the truck was "mechanically sound." This letter is in response to complaint #*** filed on 10/28/by *** ***I would first like to say that as a small business we value each and every customer a great dealMr.*** and his family are no exceptionMr*** bought the Fas a used vehicle and signed a
Federal Buyers Guide stating he understood he was purchasing the vehicle as-is, no warranty expressed or impliedI had several conversations with Mr*** regarding the Issue with his Fthat he claims occured less than an hour Into his trip home, however it was not that same day.I cannot say why he wouldn't have called PBT AUTO SALES or came back the same day If It had in fact incurred a problem so quicklyThat leads me to believe it was not immediately after purchasing the truck that the problem occuredPST AUTO SALES offered Mr*** assistance with this repair and only requested that he take care of transporting the truck to our shop in Caldwell where we could accurately diagnose and fix the problemIt was difficult to get an estimated time of availability from our shop, but I stayed in contact during that timeI sensed the frustration In Mr*** the last time we spokeI know that *** *** called and left a voice mall as well as text message trying to make contact with Mr*** to no availMr*** Is requesting half of an estimated $fix on his F250, and PST AUTO SALES Is not willing to pay for a potentially misdiagnosed issueThe cost for the repair in our shop would be a minimum of 50% less and would be accurately diagnosed and no unnecessary repairs could be done as a way to pinpoint the problem Mr*** claims to haveWe were open to discuss this Issue at any time with Mr***, but he has chosen to cease contact with us and has since flied this complaintIn closing, I would like to reiterate the fact that we value our customers and strive to satisfy any Issue that arises post sale to the best of our abilityPlease let us know if there is any further information you need to assist with this complaints

The items noted in the response did not happen. Not only did I never received any contact from Tom in voicemail or text message I received no assurance that the repairs would be done like they needed to be. I was never given a price or time frame of when the repairs would happen or cost. I had to initiate each communication. I have all the text messages on my phone to show that. I am saddened that the response letter insinuates that the problem did not arise when I said it did. It did indeed have the issue but since the truck still ran I didn't concern myself with it too much. It was only after learning what the problem actually was and what can happen if it wasn't fixed that I brought it to Marcie's attention. They want to diagnose the issue there but not only do I not trust them at this point they couldn't even get the owner/mechanic/whoever to call me one single time. It's disappointing to see the business' response as such. I have taken the truck to two different sources as well as done extensive research regarding the codes the truck has given. Both shops came to the same conclusion. One of them is performing the work as we speak. I've never thought I'd purchase a lemon but I did.
